Fabulous villa and pool with stunning views of the lake – July 2017

Both myself and husband had an extremely relaxing week in Bracciano. The villa provided an excellent base to visit the local village, relax by the lake or visit the tourist attractions of Rome. The villa had everything you could ask for and the pool was a great way to cool down in the hottest part of the day. The views from the poolside of the lake are exceptional.

Bracciano is not at all touristy, which is nice with fab restaurants and bars. We didn’t find it expensive as a two course meal with prosecco cost 29 euros. We visited Bracciano castle where Tom Cruise got married. It has a railway station with excellent links to Rome for approximately 5 euros return.

Thanks to Fiore for her help and advice during our stay. Fiore has 3 dogs, who are extremely friendly and well behaved.

Yes it is true, Bracciano is not equipped for mass tourism, I hope it will never be. And I hope it will continue to be an attraction for tourists like you, gentle and quiet people, looking for an oasis of relaxation, surrounded by natural beauty, far from confusion. I thank you for choosing my small cottage and for having appreciated it, although it could always be improved. I keep doing this constantly, because I like to know that my guests come home with a good memory
