📍Ligurian Sea

Golfo dei Poeti is one of the most romantic spots in Italy.
Its romantic name derives from the fact that famous poets, including Byron and Shelley, have stayed in this beautiful strip of land over time, all eager to be inspired for their works by the peace and beauty of this place.

It's Carnival time 🎭

Shrove Thursday is the first day of celebration of the Roman Carnival. The
Carnival plays a very important role in Italian folklore, traditionally linked to regional masks, and is celebrated in many cities, some of which are known throughout the world for the particular celebrations they organise for this anniversary.

Fun fact: All the "highlight" days of the Carnival (opening Thursday and closing Tuesday) are defined as "fat". This is based on the fact that, in fact, we celebrate and "stock up on fatty foods" in view of the "lean" period of Lent.

Festa delle Marie - Venice ✨

Festa delle Marie is one of the key events of the Venice Carnival, and commemorates a historical event that really happened.
In 973, during the annual celebrations dedicated to the purification of the Virgin Mary, twelve Venetian girls were kidnapped by a group of Dalmatian pirates. The girls were freed and brought back to Venice thanks to Doge Pietro Candiano III. Since then, the Festa delle Marie has been celebrated yearly in the lagoon city with methods and rituals that have changed over the centuries.
The competition is open only to girls aged between 18 and 28 who are residents or born in Venice and the Metropolitan City territory.

The pink salt pans in Marsala: a show not to be missed!✨

Marsala's economy and culture depend heavily on the salines, which are a perfect combination of tradition, history, and nature. These beautiful landscapes, punctuated by windmills and salt mountains, offer an evocative and fascinating experience.
The pink color is a result of the presence of specific microorganisms in the shallow and salted waters of the evaporation tanks.
Numerous migratory birds, including pink flamingos, can be found in the Saline, which is an extraordinary nature reserve.
Within the territory of the salt pans, you can visit the Salt Museum.
