Podium at the 2024 Optimist Asian and Oceanian Championship

An unforgettable edition came to an end, with 133 sailors from 19 teams facing challenging conditions: fluctuating winds, variable breezes and waves of up to 1.5 metres made the competition a true test of skill and endurance.

The Optimist World Championship wrapped up yesterday after a tough competition. The sailors dealt with various conditions that really tested their skills👊🏼. We’re proud to see that 35% of the fleet used OneSails sails, showing great trust in the quality and performance of our gear🔥.

🌊 The 36th Phuket King's Cup Regatta was confirmed as one of Asia's most prestigious sailing events. With 41 boats entered, 720 international sailors, 44 keelboats and a large number of dinghies, the competition provided unforgettable spectacle and excitement. 🏅The awards ceremony was made even more special by the presence of the King and Queen of Thailand, who celebrated this extraordinary event with us.

🎉 Our Mati Sepp, aboard the Fareast 28 "Gern Kard", took a dominant victory in the IRC2 class, proving once again the excellence of One Sails. A big applause also to the runner-up, J-99 "Jolt", equipped with One Sails sails and with Paul Eldrid of OneSails Australia on board.

For the J-99 Jolt, the winning combination was a full set of sails in 4T Forte, while the Fareast 28 competed with tri-radial laminated sails (J1 and mainsail), a Vector 2 carbon jib and the A1 and A2 gennakers, providing excellent performance and outstanding speed in all racing conditions. ⛵
