Trullo Terra Rossa is a newly restored trullo that will accomodate up to 8 people (soon 12). Both have chest of drawers and shelving for additional storage.

Ttrullo Bella Pera is a luxury property set amongst 35,000 square metres of olive, pear, almond and fig trees , just 5 km from Ceglie Messapica and 15 km from Ostuni in Puglia, Southern Italy The traditional Puglian trulli have been fully modernised to provide comfortable spacious living. It has a large pool, 6m by 15m, close to the house with luxury sun loungers, shaded gazebo with outdoor sofas

and tables, patio under the olive trees and of course two al fresco dining near the outdoor kitchen leave you spoilt for choice of outdoor space. As you step through the front door you enter the huge trullo cone area where a lounge area is situated. Alongside are two smaller cones, one with a comfy sofa and the other containing the large flat screen TV. From the hallway you enter the large living room which comfortably seats 8, has floor to ceiling windows which looking out onto the olive grove and outdoor dining area, and a child's highchair should you need it. The kitchen, which is off the living room, is well equipped and includes washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge freezer, etc. The night area consists of an en-suite air conditioned Master bedroom containing a double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps. Next to the master bedroom there is a trullo bedroom contains a bunk bed, ideal for 2 young children , bedside table plus clothes hanging space in an adjoining alcove. The third and fourth bedrooms both have air conditioning and direct access to the house bathroom; one bedroom contains 2 adults single beds and the other has a double bed and built in wardrobe. There is also a cot and baby changing station should you require. The two alfresco dining is a sheer delight. The table with seating for 10 persons alongside the outdoor kitchen which has sink, fridge, Plancha, ...

For entertainment you will find free wi-fi, table tennis, a large trampoline with safety net, TV, DVD, X Box game's console and a couple of I-pod docking stations. There are also a few children's games and toys for the very young. All our guests are encouraged to walk the land and enjoy the fruit in season !!! Just 30 minutes from Brindisi or an hour from Bari, Trullo Bella Pera is easily reached by Ryanair flights from London Stansted, British Airways and easyjet from Gatwick, as well as regular connections from Rome and Milan. It is also easily reached by Ryanair and Easyjet flights from Paris and Geneva. The rent include:

and a delicious welcome pack of local produce. Rentals are available Saturday to Saturday. Other change over dates may be available on request out of season. Terms and Conditions can be sent on request.

On a very hot day we eat acquasale.
A typical recipe of the south, widespread above all in Puglia, perfect to taste in this period: acquasale , also known as acquasala. A poor dish made at the time by farmers and fishermen with what the land offered and which allowed them to face the entire working day. Like any regional recipe, the variations are endless, but two are the main ones: a drier one that includes stale bread soaked in water, reminiscent of Tuscan panzanella. Serve the acquasale together with the friselle or stale bread and you will bring to the table a dish full of flavor and colour!
