Casa Tincana is a private house. It is not any kind of a boutique hotel, guest house or b&b place. When we bought it in 2010, there was nothing more than just a pile of rocks covering the run-down walls of the house. By putting considerable amounts of personal effort into renovating Casa Tincana, we have managed to transform this place into an oasis of serenity. Please, keep in mind that it is a very informal place. It is a private house shared with people whom we trust and whom we invite into our realm. Wczoraj Iga i Mirek Krasnowscy wizytowali naszą winnicę, która kończy trzy i pół roku. Wszystkie rady Mirka traktujemy bardzo poważnie. Jest lepiej niż myśleliśmy. Trochę chorujących krzaków, ale nie jest bardzo źle. Mamy nadzieję, że pierwsze wino będziemy robić już tej jesieni. Trzymajcie kciuki!

Co roku staramy się, żeby tu coś ulepszyć i choć trochę podnieść standard ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ W tym roku padło na kawę! Przy basenie nowa maszynka - jak na 🇮🇹 przystało, jedyny słuszny producent ☕️❤️ Życzymy smacznej kawusi! 😘

Our vineyard had overgrown so much with various weeds that it was necessary to use a special machine to raze this forest to the ground.  Now we need to gently cut the weeds between the vines. This is called pacciamatura.

The first serious harvest. Still more blackberries than grapes but we believe that the patience is a great virtue. BTW The neighbor's cat begins to look seriously like a tomcat :-)

Casa Tincana is fully booked until the 7th of August. From this date the house will be available for rent. The swimming pool heating system installed recently will allow you to enjoy splashing in the water even up until late autumn.

Today was a special day for all local residents. A few kilometers in a straight line from Casa Tincana was the peloton of the 4th stage of the Giro d'Italia 2021 from Piacenza to Sestola. Our municipality has been preparing for this event for months by laying new asphalt, cut trees, and all that countless activities visible for only a short moment during the television broadcast. Poor cyclists dying in the pouring rain. Such a hobby. But wait! It's not a hobby anymore, is it? Ok, so such a job :-) ...
All this took place against the backdrop of the magnificent Carpineti Castle once belonging to Matilde of Tuscany.

Buona Pasqua a Tutti!
Despite all adversities, we prepare Casa Tincana for the coming summer. We believe that the pandemic will ease. The vines sprout their first green shoots, the stone paths take on a new look and next week we plant beautiful bamboos. „Nostro Orto” will serve in a few weeks fresh zucchine, insalate and erbe aromatiche but we did not forget to support our local pizzeria 🙂

If you're not an enthusiast of nature's charms and all kinds of different animals aren't your dream company, don't bother coming here. Thirteen cows can be found nearby the Casa Tincana producing fresh milk and natural scents. Besides the farm animals, the abundance of local wildlife manifests itself through the presence of deers, hares, or dormice. With just a modicum of luck you may be able to stumble upon a badger or a porcupine. Throughout June and July during night time, dozens of fireflies add to the exceptional vibe of this rural area by glistening in the dark. During the day, the surrounding meadows are home to a variety of insects, which come in all colours and sizes.

Despite being immersed in a unique, rural atmosphere there is a touch of a modern lifestyle. WiFi, 55" LCD TV, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and some fancy cooking appliances. For those, willing to stay fresh and tidy, there is a washing machine and an iron as well.
