Today we started on replacing the liner in the pool. Gone will be the marks around the top. In its place we will will have a shiny new liner. Getting ready for out guests this year. A few weeks left if you would like an amazing break this year.

The olives trees in the garden and there are more than a dozen. Now close to being picked, abundant on some trees and sparse on others it will be a funny year. Looking forward to the oil from the tree. Mmm

Enjoying the mid day sun in our outside lounge area, looking down the valley at Monte San Vicino with its top in the clouds. Is it too early for a glass of bubbles? No, thank you Tenuta Dell’Ugolino. So well made it’s a delight to enjoy. Well deserved after chopping all this wood.

A walk to macine, from Castelplanio through the vineyard of Tenuta dell’Ugolino and olive groves, for a coffe and return is the best way to start the day.
