In the countryside, often after a rich year comes a poor year, 2022 was great, 2023 spared neither vines nor olive trees, the lowest harvest of the last ten years in our area, many trees didn’t even have olives at all.

However, some good news has arrived in recent days: we have won the competition for the best olive oil in the municipality of Cavriglia,.
Congratulations to and friends who helped harvest, to the oil mill , and to our centuries-old olive trees who, as always, did their best despite the adverse climate.
