Montepulciano
Montepulciano is called the Pearl of Renaissance. Piazza Grande is the heart of Montepulciano and the setting for its main events, including the barrel-racing Bravio delle Botti contest held in August every year and much more. A walk through Montepulciano is highly recommended, it is the best way to view the town and its beautiful landmarks as well as enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Chianciano Terme
It is characterized by a small historical center and a very interesting archaeological museum, but perhaps this village is best known for the opportunities for relaxation it offers, in fact Chianciano Terme is above all a place of well-being, presenting itself as one of the most famous spa towns of Italy. You can enjoy its truly miraculous waters, immersing yourself in their warmth or sipping them to purify your body and soul. At the THEIA SPA in Chianciano Terme there is a splendid complex of indoor and outdoor thermal pools of various temperatures with water games, hydro massages and cervical water jets. The THEIA water temperature varies from 33 to 36 degrees in the different areas of the pools. Water also has therapeutic effects on the most common skin diseases (seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, etc.). The pool and green outdoor areas are furnished with sun beds, umbrellas, tables and chairs.
