Our new wine shop opened in Cortona, Italy in 2000 giving us the opportunity to expand the wine list as well as introducing and associated colletion of wine accessories including Riedel glasses and decanters as well as gourmet food. In 2008 we extended our shop floor to accommodate

wine tastings and lectures for individuals and smaller parties. Our Enomatic wine dispenser ensures at least four different seasonal tastings. Our personal service, our vast collection of wine and ability to acquire specific vintages is the reason for our success with many satisfied customers worldwide.

As we prepare for the holidays and the start of winter, I would like to propose one of the most famous wines of Italy, Amarone della Valpolicella!

Amarone is produced in Valpolicella, a wine region located just a few kilometers from Verona, in the region of Veneto (Italy). Today, Amarone is considered one of the great Italian reds, just as iconic as Barolo, Brunello, Chianti and Supertuscans.

Our Story

Our family has been involved in wine since 1937, when our grandfather managed the local bottega, which he then passed down to our father, Guiliano. Over the years that bottega has grown and expanded to what it is today; a cozy wine shop with an expansive and carefully cultivated 1500 labels of wine and spirits, wine accessories, glass wear and gourmet food, as well as space for wine tastings and lectures. Throughout the year we host a variety of events, from wine tours, tastings in the Piazza, to our now infamous “Wine, Dine and Shine” dinners hosted in conjunction with our dear friends, DelBrenna Jewelry and top local restaurants.

Our exquisite personal service, our vast and ever expanding collection of wine, and ability to acquire specific vintages- these are just a few reasons we have so many beloved clients, but more importantly friends, from around the world.
