Jokulsarlon Lagoon, a glacier lake formed
from the ancient receding Breiomerkurjokull
Glacier. Iceland is a Volcanic Island formed
from extensive volcanic eruptions about
18 million years ago. The black sand is formed
from the basalt lava that covers much of the
area.

The Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day :
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower
on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It was
built in 1889 by the engineer Gustave Eiffel.
At 324 m it was the tallest man made structure
for 41 years, from 1889 to 1930. Bastille Day is
the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille
that occurred July 14 1789, a key turning point
in the French Revolution, as well as the
Fete de la Federation which celebrated the
unity of the French people on July 14, 1790.

Sometimes, the art humans create seem less impressive in comparison to the works made by nature. The Marble Caves are one such marvel: erosion and light has turned geological formations into colorful works of sculpture. The Marble Caves (also known as Cuevas de Mármol) are located in the Patagonian Andes, on a peninsula of solid marble. This unique geological formation sits in waters shared by Argentina and Chile, and is only accessible by boat.
Over more than 6,000 years, lake currents lapped at the marble, slowing carving out the smooth formations you see today. Though the marble itself isn't a brilliant blue, it dances with cerulean displays of color when the water reflects its light. As a result, it changes color throughout the year, depending on water levels and season

In the central-southern part of Sardinia, in the middle of the Campidano area, one of the island's highest waterfalls perennially shows, within a naturalistic context of incomparable beauty. A blade of water cuts through the rock and passes through a lush and fragrant forest: it is the image that nature has painted around Villacidro, in the Middle Campidano, imprinting it in one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Sardinia, so much so as to be praised by Gabriele D'Annunzio in a sonnet composed on the occasion of his visit to the island in 1882.
Sa Spendula, the name of the town that hosts it, means 'the waterfall': it is the sudden fall of the Coxinas river, which originates from the Santu Miali peaks (in the suggestive park of Mount Linas), in three consecutive jumps for a maximum height of 60 meters in altitude. The waters form three natural pools in as many points of fall and flow into a gorge of particular naturalistic value, dominated by a granite spire, called Campanas de Sisinni Conti.
In the nearby paths, the show continues with two other waterfalls: Piscina Irgas and Muru Mannu. The first plunges into a deep pool with a jump of about 5 5 meters, to wedge into the Mediterranean scrub up to the Leni stream, the second is the most impressive in Sardinia, about 7 0 meters high in its jump greater, narrow between two sheer walls. It flows into a small l surrounded by holm oaks and holly.
Whatever your passion, you can explore the surrounding area with pleasant trekking excursions: it is interesting from a geological, wildlife, archaeological and historical-mining point of view.

Bridge of The Immortals In Yellow Mountain, Huangshan, China
Huangshan is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China. Vegetation on the range is thickest below 1,100 meters (3,600 ft), with trees growing up to the treeline at 1,800 meters (5,900 ft).
During the Qin Dynasty, Huangshan was known as Yishan (Mount Yi). In 747 AD, its name was changed to Huangshan (Mount Huang) by imperial decree; the name is commonly thought to have been coined in honor of Huang Di (the Yellow Emperor), a legendary Chinese emperor, and the mythological ancestor of the Han Chinese.
The area is well known for its scenery, sunsets, peculiarly-shaped granite peaks, Huangshan pine trees, hot springs, winter snow, and views of the clouds from above. Huangshan is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of China's major tourist destinations.
The most famous landmark of this mountain range is the Bridge of the Immortals. This is the world`s highest bridge. To get there you have to have adventures spirit as well as a lot of courage.
