Who Invented Cantucci? 🍪🇮🇹
Cantucci, also known as Biscotti di Prato, originated in Tuscany, Italy, during the Renaissance. The credit for their creation goes to Antonio Mattei, a baker from Prato, who perfected the recipe in the 19th century. His bakery, Biscottificio Mattei( ) , still exists today!
