ɴᴇᴡ ʀᴇꜱᴛʀɪᴄᴛɪᴏɴꜱ ɪɴ ʜᴀᴠᴀɴᴀ

In order to contain the further spread of COVID-19 in the capital city of Cuba, new restrictions have been implemented for the Habaneros.

The most severe rule is that as of 6pm until 7am, it is not allowed to go outside. Everybody has to remain indoors, with the result of deserted streets.

Click on the link below to see an impression of the totally empty streets of Havana. It makes us so sad, let's hope things will change for the better quickly.

For now, we just need to be patient.

Take care,

Parliamo del Clima cubano... tutto l'anno una temperatura piacevole...❤️

Good morning,

Let's talk about Cuban weather 🌤
Except for the mountains Cuba has a mild sub tropical climate, with wet warm summers and a dry short winter. With an average minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius and an average maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius, Cuba has a pleasant temperature the whole year round. During the winter season the night can be a little cooler.

Rain season starts in May at lasts until October, refreshing the island with local showers. This is also the season in which hurricanes might come to bring a visit to Cuba, and maybe damaging buildings, roads. Let's hope we will be spared this year.

In general the eastern part of the Island is a little bit warmer than the western part of the island.

We sometimes are asked what the best season is to travel to Cuba, and of course in general we answer " from November till April because as of May the rainy season starts". But to be honest sometimes these showers are really nice, and don't last the whole day.

Furthermore, rainy images are mostly more beautiful than the sunny ones, don't you think?

Don't hesitate to share your images of Cuba with us!

Have a good day,

Your friends with Daiquiri Tours

An image to start the new week.

A picture taken some time ago, one of our guests traveling to Cayo Coco, this is the road just before arriving to the Cayos.

Traveling with a campervan is now considered the most safe way, social distancing is not a problem, your own mobile home on wheels, your own bathroom, also before each new guest our motorhomes are thoroughly cleaned.

Would you like to explore Cuba with one of our campers when allowed to travel again?

Feel free to contact us with a PM or send an email to [email protected] for information.

Have a good day.

Your friends with Daiquiri Tours.

PS: Feel free to like, share or to share your best Cuban pictures in the comments.

Happy anniversary to Santiago de Cuba!

Yesterday, Santiago de Cuba, the 7th city founded by Diego Vélasquez, celebrated its 505th birthday.

Santiago de Cuba boasts the strongest Caribbean spirit of the entire island. The city once was the most important port for the slave trade and the largest center for the flourishing sugar, coffee and to***co industry. The multi-ethnic groups in Santiago form a truly exotic melting pot of cultures, reflected in the city’s many festivals. Santiago is also referred to as Cuba’s 'Capital of Music', and is the country’s second-largest city. With a rich history and many attractions, an inspiring city full of wonders. Close to Santiago is El Cobre, the most important pilgrimage destination in Cuba, nestled at the foothills of the Sierra Maestra. Here at the Basilica of El Cobre, you will find the Virgen del Cobre, which is worshipped by Catholics and devotees of the Cuban Santeria-religion equally.

So, in honor of Santiago de Cuba, some beautiful pictures of this beautiful town.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Daiquiri Tours is the only private tour operator in Cuba with its own offices in, Havana - Cuba, Miami - USA, Florence - Italy.

We offer a different kind of tourism in Cuba.

Claudio Cardini, Italian, immediately fell in love with Cuba and its people when he set foot on the island over 20 years ago. The experience gained in over 40 years of work in the world of incoming open-air tourism in Italy and Europe with the Human Company, https://www.facebook.com/HumanCompanyOfficial/, he thought Cuba would be the ideal place to practice this type of tourism as well.

It took little time to understand that Cuba offered what represents the basis of outdoor tourism: comfort, safety, culture, contact with nature, and with the locals.
