Meet our team | Elena Fiaschi, Senior Travel Designer

I am Elena: 100% Florentine, a passionate Travel Designer and sommelier in training.
I'm head over heels in love with my country, I was born and still live here, right in the middle of our hills; I adore walking through small unknown villages and getting lost among the stirring scents of little local markets. I love to discover secret places that even locals ignore and have a passion for "tasting" each place, discovering the faces and sounds that make it real, and treasuring this as a special souvenir, inside, forever.
I love music, I play the piano..even not so much as I wish; I love to read and read with my kids.

As a mom and as a creative person, colors and drawings fill up my life; I love to paint and illustrate... you will always find a little sketch in my hands while I'm on the phone or chatting, and drawings lying randomly around the house.

What my job gives me is the chance to put all the treasures I have in my heart in each of the itineraries I design and "tailor-paint"; I enjoy creating surprising, customized solutions for mindful travelers, allowing our guests to actually "live" unique sensations, giving them have a piece of my Tuscany to carry away with them, in their hearts.

I delight in talking with guests, discussing options, listening and understanding what their wishes are, and uncovering those special requests often hidden under a simple question. Starting from there I "draw" a picture of their voyage, mixing it well to get a balanced blend of curiosities, art and craft, stunning views, liaising with locals, and experiencing the lifestyle.

Michelangelo used to say: "Pure beauty belongs to everybody." My motto is:
"Slow and authentic travel is the beauty of everybody's life"

"My name is Silvia, I've been working in tourism since 2013 with the old Florencetown team; in the years I explored different companies and duties, arriving then back to Arno last Spring, and I am very much enthusiastic about that! I could say that I always had a wandering attitude, but with strong roots! I am from a small medieval little town in Tuscany, Pistoia is the place I call home. The need to explore new places and the studies in History of Art, brought me living in several different cities, both in Italy and abroad. My last experience was in Turin and this gave me the chance to know the Piedmont region better. I love to create food and wine itineraries in the Langhe region!
I am now currently living in Genoa, and this is a great opportunity to explore the Italian Riviera and create new itineraries besides the classic Portofino and Cinque Terre."
