🇮🇹Che emozione è stata questa settimana la visita alla stanza segreta di Michelangelo! È una piccola stanza sotterranea nelle Cappelle Medicee, dove l'artista si rifugiò nel 1530 per sfuggire alla vendetta politica della famiglia Medici, di cui lui era fiero oppositore, che tornava a ristabilire il suo potere a Firenze dopo un lungo esilio! Incredibili i disegni che l'artista realizzò spontanemente durante il periodo di reclusione, in alcuni casi solo abbozzati, in altri sovrapposti gli uni agli altri, mentre era immerso nei suoi pensieri...un incontro con Michelangelo nella sua dimensione più solitaria e intimista❤️.

🇬🇧🇺🇲What a thrill it was this week to visit Michelangelo's secret room! A small underground room in the Medici Chapels where the artist took refuge in 1530 to escape the political revenge of the Medici family, of which he was a proud political opponent, who were returning to re-establish their power in Florence after a long exile.
Incredible are the charcoal drawings that the artist made spontaneously during his period of imprisonment, in some cases only sketched, in others superimposed on each other, while he was immersed in his thoughts...an encounter with Michelangelo, in his most solitary and intimate dimension❤️.

🇮🇹Firenze, città di innumerevoli tesori artistici giustamente "sotto i riflettori", ma anche di gioielli un po' più nascosti e appartati ed al tempo stesso straordinari! Tra questi ultimi, il Chiostro dello Scalzo, piccolo e preziosissimo spazio affrescato dal pittore Andrea del Sarto tra 1509 e 1526 (con il contributo del "collega" Franciabigio), con le Storie di San Giovanni Battista. Figure monumentali, gesti solenni, scene "scolpite" dal monocromo, che esalta ancora di più i virtuosismi del pittore. Grandissimo Andrea del Sarto, artista manierista...come non essere suoi fans🤩🤩🤩?

🇱🇷🇬🇧Florence, a city of artistic treasures always "in the spotlight" but also of more hidden and secluded jewels and at the same time ....extraordinary! Among the latter is the Chiostro dello Scalzo (Cloister of the Barefoot), a small and very precious space frescoed between 1509 and 1526 by the painter Andrea del Sarto (with the contribution of his colleague Franciabigio) with Stories from the Life of St. John the Baptist. Monumental figures, solemn gestures and scenes "sculpted" by monochrome, which further enhances the painter's virtuosity.
Great Andrea del Sarto, Mannerist painter....how can we not be his fans🤩🤩🤩?

🇮🇹Oggi, 21 Febbraio è la Giornata Internazionale della Guida Turistica, istituita nel 1990 dalla World Federation Tourist Guide Association🏆! Per celebrare questa importante ricorrenza, sabato 24 Febbraio l'Agt di Firenze offrirà gratuitamente una serie di visite guidate alla chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena de' Pazzi in Borgo Pinti (tutte le informazioni nella locandina👇!). Un incontro all'insegna dell'arte, della Bellezza e della riflessione sul ruolo della figura professionale della guida turistica. Io ci sarò 👍!!

🇮🇹Incantevole la mostra "Salvatore Ferragamo 1898-1960" a Palazzo Spini Feroni, sede del museo della famosa casa di moda! Una bella narrazione dell'incredibile talento e del genio del "calzolaio dei sogni" attraverso le sue splendide creazioni dagli anni '30 alla fine degli anni '50!Tra le scarpe realizzate per le dive di Hollywood, per le attrici italiane e le case reali di tutto il mondo spiccano le famose décolleté rosse tempestate di cristalli Swarovski. Il nome del modello è "Marylin", non ci sono dubbi su chi le abbia indossate 😉👏!!

A beautiful narrative of the incredible talent and genius of the "shoemaker of dreams" through his splendid creations from the 1930s to the late 1950s! Among the shoes made for Hollywood divas, Italian actresses and the royal houses of the world (how wonderful!), the famous red pumps studded with Swarovski crystals stand out. The model name is "Marylin", there is no doubt who wore them😉👏!!!

La mostra dedicata all'artista ceco Alphonse Mucha al Museo degli Innocenti a Firenze ci fa viaggiare tra splendori e innovazioni dell'Art Noveau con raffinate figure femminili che quasi si fondono con le decorazioni floreali, linee arabescate e incantevoli colori pastello. Notevole anche la sezione dedicata all'"Arte della Ceramica" della famiglia Chini, nata a Firenze, una delle più significative espressioni di questo stile in Italia. Insomma, com'era bella quella "Belle Époque"😊🌺🌷🪷!

🇬🇧🇱🇷The rich exhibition on the Czech artist Alphonse Mucha at the Museo degli Innocenti in Florence takes us on a journey through the innovations and splendors of Art Noveau with exquisite female figures that almost merge with floral motifs, arabesque lines and enchanting pastel colors. 🇮🇹"Frammenti di Pace" è il titolo di quest'interessante installazione dell'artista Felice Limosani, attualmente in mostra a Palazzo Bartolini Salimbeni, sede della collezione di arte contemporanea Casamonti. Il senso di bellezza e armonia di questo spazio rinascimentale viene moltiplicato dalle facce riflettenti di un obelisco che ruota su se stesso, un dialogo ben riuscito tra passato e contemporaneità. Per ammirare l'installazione basta entrare nel cortile del palazzo, fino al 28 Gennaio👍😊!

🇱🇷🇬🇧"Fragments of Peace" is the title of this interesting installation by artist Felice Limosani, currently on display in the courtyard of Palazzo Bartolini Salimbeni, home of the contemporary art collection Roberto Casamonti. The sense of beauty and harmony of this Renaissance space is multiplied and then brought together by the reflective faces of this obelisk rotating on itself. To admire this fusion of ancient and contemporary style, just enter the palace courtyard, until January 28😊👍!

🇮🇹 Ebbene, sì! Dopo un eccezionale prolungamento del bel tempo, l'Autunno è decisamente arrivato a Firenze🍂🍁 e la sua statua si pavoneggia ad una delle estremità del ponte di Santa Trìnita insieme all'Inverno❄️, anche lui impaziente di mettersi in mostra😊. Primavera ed Estate, invece, aspettano pazientemente, dall'altra parte del ponte. Dopo tutto, quest'anno, le grandi protagoniste sono state loro 🌞😉.

After an exceptionally prolonged stretch of good weather, Autumn has definitely arrived in Florence🍂🍁 and its statue is proudly standing at one end of the Bridge Santa Trìnita, along with Winter, also eager to show off❄️. Spring and Summer,on the other hand, wait patiently on the other side of the bridge. After all, in this year, they were the big stars🌞😉!

🇮🇹 L'ho vista, finalmente! La Pietà Rondanini di Michelangelo al Castello Sforzesco di Milano, il suo ultimo capolavoro, a cui l'artista lavorò fino a pochi giorni prima di morire. La fusione dei corpi di Maria e Gesù, deposto dalla croce, ed il loro slancio verso l'alto...incomparabile espressività e modernità del non-finito michelangiolesco! Un'emozione ❤️.

🇺🇸🇬🇧 I saw it, finally! Michelangelo' s "Rondanini Pietà " at Milan' s Castello Sforzesco, the artist's last masterpiece, which he worked on until a few days before his death. The fusion of the bodies of Mary and Jesus, deposed from the cross, and their upward thrust...the incomparabile expressiveness and modernity of Michelangelo 's unfinished work. So powerful❤️!

🇮🇹 Biblioteca con vista ...e che vista! Studiare non è stato mai così piacevole. Anche solo per un po' di relax e contemplazione.... è un'esperienza fiorentina da provare!

Il percorso della Resistenza nell'Oltrarno a Firenze per i bravissimi ragazzi di una scuola media con Associazione Culturale Regola d'arte e l'area archeologica di Fiesole con mini-studiosi e scienziati 😉 di una scuola elementare internazionale.
Grata al mio lavoro per i piccoli momenti di (in)trascurabile felicità 🥰

The itinerary of the Resistance Movement in WW2 in the Oltrarno district for the middle schools and the archaeological area of Fiesole with little archaeologists and scientists😉 from an international elementary school. Grateful to my job for these tiny perfect moments of authentic happiness🥰

Digital art and Renaissance

🇮🇹"Machine allucination- Renaissance Dreams" ...non poteva esserci nome più indovinato per l'installazione digitale nel cortile di Palazzo Strozzi, realizzata dall'artista americano-turco Refik Anadol! Davvero un po' allucinante e ipnotica, senz'altro affascinante. Rappresenta forse una grande tavolozza in cui si rimescolano e si fondono tutti i pigmenti usati nella pittura del Rinascimento? Qui più che mai....via libera a infinite, possibili intepretazioni!! 🇬🇧 🇺🇸"Machine hallucination- Renaissance Dreams" ...there could not have been a more fitting name for the digital installation in the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi, created by American-Turkish artist Refik Anadol! Really a bit hallucinating and hypnotic, certainly fascinating. Does it represent a large palette in which all the pigments used in Renaissance painting are mixed and blended? Here, more than ever....green light to endless, possible interpretations!!!
