If you are looking for the perfect pesto sauce, you are on the right post! 🌿
The ingredients are:
• peeled garlic
• fresh italian basil
• pine nuts
• salt
• italian extra virgin olive oil
• pecorino
• parmesan cheese
First of all, detach the leaflets from the basil sprigs and place them in a colander, rinse, and dry with a towel.
Use the mortar to squash the peeled garlic, and after that, add pine nuts.
Once it has become mellow, add salt, and basil until it becomes creamy.
At this point, add pecorino and parmesan cheese and squash again.
At the very end you can add olive oil and mix for a few more seconds.
Your pesto is ready.

The Vatican City it’s the smallest country in the world.
It’s the size of a square and slightly more, can you believe it?
The state was founded in 1929 taking a portion of the city of Rome, thanks to an agreement between the Pope and the Italian Kingdom.
The Pope is the head of the catholic church, but also the head of the Vatican State 🇻🇦
It has its own flag and police, while the official currency is the euro and the official language is Italian.
Only a few people still live in the state. 🏠
Even if it is the smallest state in the world, it has some of the most important works of art of all time, such as the Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Church, and many frescoes and statues made by famous artists such as Raffaello, Michelangelo, and Bernini.
Have you ever visited the Vatican City? 🇻🇦

The history of this delicious food starts from the Neolithic time when cavemen started to make flatbreads using toasted cereals.
The discovery of yeast during the Egyptian period gave the start to the preparation of different kinds of soft bread.
The Romans started to prepare soft focaccia filled with different ingredients and sauces, but without tomatoes which only arrived in Italy in the 17th Century.
In 1898 Raffaele Esposito, the best Neapolitan pizza chef of the time, invented the famous Pizza Margherita dedicated to the queen of Italy, Margherita di Savoia. As today, the pizza was simply made with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and fresh basil, whose colors remind to the ones of the Italian flag.
Did you know that?

Everyone loves mozzarella, but not so many people know that the word 𝐦𝐨𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 comes from the Neapolitan dialect “mozza” or the verb “mozzare” which means “to cut” referring to the process of making the soft milky balls of this amazing cheese 🫕
During the process, after mixing the ingredients with a big wooden stick, the cheesemaker cuts the big stringy cheese dough into small pieces that will become delicious mozzarellas 🍴

Today our team tried one of Florence's most traditional artisan works, the paper marble.
Our artisan told us the history of paper marble, coming from Asia and arriving in Venice and all over Italy during the Middle Ages.
The Florentine artisans soon became experts in this new technique, mostly used to decorate books 📖
After a quick demonstration, we had the chance to create our own paper marble choosing from different decorations and colors 🎨
At the end of the class, we took with us our paper as the most beautiful souvenir we could find in Florence! 💖

Since the Roman time, Prosecco has always been considered one of the best Italian wines and the ancient Romans used to say that it also had healing properties that increased people’s longevity.
Believe it or not, it has always been one of the most appreciated wines, thanks to its delicate, sweet, and sparking flavors. No doubt today it is the best-selling wine in the world!
But do you know where it is produced? 🍾
It was invented in a small village near Trieste, north Italy, called Prosecco, that gives the name to the wine and castle where it was produced for the first time! Nowadays, the area is know as Valdobbiadene, where hundreds of small family-run wineries host tours and tastings to help foreigners understand the unicity of this wine. Let’s book a tour with us!🍾🥂
