Our guest house is made of wood with solar panels, photovoltaic panels and it is designed to be as much eco-friendly as possible. It is located in Framura, a small village so close to the famous Cinque Terre that it can be considered the sixth one. The guest house is divided in five comfortable self-catering apartments, well equipped and roomy. Furthermore you will have the possibility to eat outs

ide if you like, to sunbath or to enjoy the fresh water of the stream nearby. The property is surrounded by fields, vineyards, olive and cherry trees. We produce…with organic-love: olive oil, white and red wine, vegetables and the famous honey from Liguria. Moreover, if you like walking all around here there are many breathtaking paths and unspoiled beaches to explore and in summertime you will have the possibility to take part to many typical fests and to taste traditional food enjoying the cheerful Italian countryside atmosphere. By boat or by train you can reach easily Cinque Terre , Portofino, Portovenere, Sestri Levante as well as the big city of Genova where there are many museums and a well known Opera House ( Carlo Felice). By car you can also visit the beautiful Vara Valley famous for its nature and the effort made by its inhabitants to preserve it, in fact Varese Ligure was the first town in Europe to be considered ecological. Also Pisa, Lucca, Firenze are not very far from here travelling by train or by car.

Here in the woods, you will feel your stress decrease and you will reconnect with your thoughts. We are not made for city-life. Castagnaccio is the tradional Halloween food in Liguria.

Infact also here, we used to celebrate the Deads on the night between the 31st f October and the 1st of Novembrer.

Food had a very important role in the festivities as people would quite litteraly share food with the Deads.

They used to dress the table leaving extra plates and food for their dear departed oneces so they can partake in the dinner.

Of corse the ingreedients were seasonal and local so chestnuts and chestnuts flouer were very frequently used.

Did You know that Pomegranate is a very ancient simbol of life and death?

Infact the ancient greeks used to belive that it was the deads food.

According to the leggend Demeter's daughter Persephone was kidnapped by Ades who fell in love with her and tricked he into eating 6 seeds of pomegranade so she had to spend 6 months every year in the kingdom of the deads.

That it is why we have winter because Persephone's mother Demeter was so sad that she had the earth stopping producing food and blooming to mourn the absence of her daughter.

Il Laghello is an ecofarm nasted in the very center of a beautiful unspoiled valley.

Many peaceful trails lead form here to the villages closeby making this a paradise for hiking lovers. You will be able to able to walk from your door step to the sea and the Vara Valley as well as Levanto and even Monterosso exploring the lessknown corners of Liguria.

our guesthouse is the first climate house built in Liguria. It is designed to be as ecofriendly as possible with solar and photovoltaic pannels that produced 66 840 Kw of electicity since our opening. The heating in winter works thaks to heat pump and the house is perfectly thermally isolated so that there is no need of air conditioning as long as you open the windows at night as shut them during the day.
