From the moment the great gates of the property open for you, you are surrounded by olive and fig trees that are spread throughout the garden. You look out on the 'Monti Prenest
ini' and surrounding villages. On warm summer evenings you can watch the stars from your private terrace or garden for free! The brand new home is fully equipped, should you still miss something, please do not hesitate to ask. You have access to a private parking area with enough space for several cars. The pool is located in front of the main house, but when renting the house it is completely at your disposal. There is a stair and a small shallow platform for water fun with small children. On the sun loungers by the pool you can sunbathe, read a good book or just rest. The large conservatory/veranda which belongs to the main house is open for use. Italy would not be Italy without the great food and drink, for which this culinary country is known for. After a long, cultural day in Rome not feel like cooking? Our hostess, Auntie Laura, likes to cook (on request) a "buonissimo" meal for you. Do you want to cook yourself in the evening? You can let yourself with the delicious local products that you can get at the local store. Any energy left for a night out? Within 'no time' you can reach one of the many surrounding villages where you can try and eat the best delicacies of the area at a reasonable price. Our hostess can advise you in this. The region is a well-kept secret of the Romans and known locally for its many attractions; both cultural, historical and gastronomical. Visit one of the many vineyards, Roman ruins of Tusculum and the village of Palestrina are good examples of it. If you do not mind a little more travelling, go spend a day at the town of Fiuggi, a famous spa resort south of Rome. As you read, you do not get bored!
