GAETA : Situata tra Roma e Napoli lungo la cosiddetta Riviera di Ulisse, la splendida Gaeta si affaccia sul meraviglioso Mar Tirreno. Si tratta di una località turistica sin dai tempi dell’Impero Romano. Tra le attrattive circostanti troviamo il mausoleo del generale Lucio Munazio Planco del I secolo AC. Il centro storico di Gaeta è perlopiù di epoca medievale con stradine affusolate, l’imponente castello del XIII secolo e le cattedrali dell’Assunta e di Sant’Erasmo del XII secolo. Per rilassarsi, l’incantevole e centrale spiaggia Serapo è il posto migliore.

The old town of Gaeta is mostly medieval streets with tapered, the imposing castle of the thirteenth century and the cathedrals of the Assumption and Saint Erasmus of the twelfth century.
