This Mediterranean style apartment is set in a small private and peaceful residence in the gulf of Gaeta on the edge of the Natural Reserve of Gaeta with stunning panoramic walking/cycling paths. The apartment offers a refuge only an hour away by train from the heart of Rome, and Naples-Pompeii. Dozens of additional interesting genuine Italian sites to visit away from conventional tourist paths nearby… such as Caserta (Reggia and huge Italian brands outlet, Sperlonga, Gaeta, Terracina, Cassino, and much more). Sperlonga Cottage is a cozy, charming home in the Gulf of Gaeta and offers its vacation visitors a peaceful escape with its private garden, a beautiful outside covered dinner area and a large BBQ. The cottage is in the middle of the picturesque Gulf of Gaeta that includes 3 medieval towns within a radial of approx. 15 km: Gaeta, Formia and Minturno, with its ancient Roman ruins, medieval down towns and castles, ancient churches and shops, bars, trattoria, restaurants, pizzeria and the traditional homemade ice-cream shops. This beautiful cottage is in one of the very few private residences perfect for a small family intimate holiday, reunions and celebrations, and is the ideal place to spend a serene, peaceful holiday, within day-trip distance of Rome or Naples, but without the noise and chaos of the cities. The apartment’s proximity to the beach offers everything for the water sports lovers such as swimming, sailing, snorkeling and sailboarding. The three towns nearby, Gaeta, Formia and Minturno, offer wonderful restaurants that serve seafood caught daily in the bay. The apartment has a carefully maintained garden. There is also a private parking area for 1 car. Our guests’ favorite area is the equipped garden, enjoying the world famous Italian sun or relaxing under the covered seating area. Sipping a bottle of the good Italian wine, is the best way to enjoy the sunset overlooking the nature or to have breakfast under the Italian warm weather most days of the year. The house has independent access by the private garden very well maintained with a panoramic view on the local mountains (Mt Redentore -1352mt). The environment is friendly and relaxing. Perfect to find yourself in a genuine Italian environment. It has a charming living room with an American style kitchen. Our guests use to spend there most of their time. In the living room there are table and seats, tv, a comfortable new double sofa bed. The bedroom also is large and fitted with a double bed and a wardrobe. The bathroom is provided of bath and shower, furthermore, it has the washing machine. The house is fully furnished of everything you may need
