Dearest guests, dearest friends,

We waited the development of the events before deciding to send a message to you all, now it is for us the moment to write something.

The situation is not good in Italy, people have to stay home for the safety of us all, We have to reduce contacts with other people and go out only for work, go to the supermarkets, or visit old people with needs.
Moreover, after economical crysis, italian hospitals were disempowered, so now there is not enough equipment to face such a huge emergency.

In Lombardy, for bad cases, doctors are currently choosing who to save and who to save not, basing the choice on the chance of survival… So we are worried for the older people in our families.

Thus, our home Premignaga is not the worst place where to be stuck in, every breath of good air and every walk in nature is maybe more enjoyed in this difficult moment... this "slow times" made us think about many things We want to communicate and which We please ask to SPREAD ABROAD.

Italians have many lacks, but something that is good and characterizes us is our EMPATHY.
We are often some of the first to send help wherever there are problems (earthquakes, wars..) because this empathy makes us feel the suffer of the sufferings.

This is something I do not see abroad nowadays.

What I see is articles like "Will italians be able to follow the rules and not contaminate everybody" or "Italy did not moved good and fast".

This makes me very angry.

I see Robert Koch Institute saying that Italy moved slow, the same institute that does not know how many tests for Coronavirus were made in the whole Germany, coming to know the numbers from the media and not from a centralized emergency panel which at the moment We, the disorganized and slow ones, have.

I see French people making fun of us with “Pizza Corona” images, then I see them not following the rules with disregard for everyone, and making a big reunion of 3500 people to celebrate a Smurfs event (yes, the blue little people from the cartoon).

As UE We should be a unique country, We should all feel empathy for a sibling population which is facing one of the hardest times since WWII and not hide ourselves behind hipocrisy, rudeness and egoistic behaviours:

WE, ITALIANS, DESPITE ALL OUR BAD ASPECTS, WILL NEVER DO THAT.

Italy was the european country which took in the beginning the hardest measures to stop the spread of the virus, and this must be underlined with strenght, so please spread this.

Moreover, I saw thousands of images on the web after terrorists attacks in France of 2015, and not a single photo of solidarity to us.

This is not right and We will not watch all this without saying nothing.

Now it is time to PRAY FOR ITALY, to PRAY FOR EUROPE.

For our health, for our dreams and our lives.

We MUST take this not only as problem but also as an opportunity to create a better world, in which We do not need a virus to slow down pollution and in which HEALTH IS A RIGHT FOR EVERYONE.
