Grappa fratelli brunello
🇮🇹 Grappa is an exclusively Italian spirit. This historic right is recognised by the EU and the term “grappa” has been EU-protected since 1989. The most ancient Italian distillery was in Bassano del Grappa (1779), in Veneto region, in Northern Italy.
Grappa is produced from the leftover grapes used for making wine and it is typically served as a digestif following a meal, sometimes with coffee. It has high alcohol content (37.5% to a maximum of 86%) and a very low sugar content (2%).
It is stored in inert stainless tanks for at least twelve months and ach distillation cycle lasts one hour and half.
If you want to learn more about the history, culture of grappa and visit a distillery, do contact us .
