We are hiking, breathing and eating well.

I am trying to escape the awful time of stress and distress that I had in the previous months.

Specialità della nostra regione.
Quando mostro la città ai turisti non può mancare l'approccio mangereccio.

Cucina semplice, eppure gustosa fatta di ricette ingegnose, a volte nebulose e intrise di storia popolare.

It has been a long time since I have posted.
Many things to do: take care of my family and especially of my daughter as she will leave home soon going to college.
She needs all my support in this special moment.

But today's Italy celebrates Saint Joseph: father day.

My dad's name was John and as I am doing with Giulia he always believed in me, since I was a little girl.

His presence was like a wall. Strong yet safe.
He was kind and gentle
He teached me to be kind, to respect people's emotions.

The woman I am is because of him.

I miss you papà

About me

My name is Laura and I grew up in Liguria. Since more than 10 years I’m working as tour leader and tour guide. I have graduated in anthropology in Rom and spent many years abroad working as social scientist for several research laboratories in Austria and Germany, conducting surveys and analysing data to develop new and more effective social policies. On the same time, the deep passion for history and arts gave me the input to became a tour guide. I started using my skills and knowledge and after a long process of study I am now licensed tour guide working in Genoa, Portofino and the Ligurian Riviera.
