Viareggio, the capital of the Italian Carnival, gives an appointment to the five great Masked Parades 2018 on its seafront promenade. On 27th January and 4/11/13/17 of February the city is transformed into a fun factory amid parades of papier-mâché giants, night parties, fireworks , shows, theatrical and gastronomic events and major world sporting events. The triple shot of the cannon is the unmistakable sign that the party begins in Viareggio.As if by magic, the giant masks come to life among movements, music and dances. A show that is always new, exciting and fascinating. Five Great Masked Parades, concentrated in a single month of great festivities.

The spectacular final fireworks in La Spezia

A new ferris wheel on the waterfront of La Spezia.It is 2 minutes on foot from our apartment, Interno24.

In Levanto, on 24 -25 of July, there’s the FESTA DEL MARE (the Sea feast).Historical parade with ladies and knights in the center of the village in the morning of 24 and medieval tournaments in Piazza Cavour: duels with swords, flag-wavers and tug-of-war competitions.On 25 night, after dinner, the great final of the event:a procession opened with the saint’s statue and several characteristic enormous handcrafted crucifixes carried by each man through the streets till the promenade.In the sea 10.000 floating candles create a atmosphere full of charm before the fireworks fired from the beach.

Our town is a perfect starting point to visit Cinque Terre,Portovenere and Lerici,and other italian cities like Lucca,Pisa and Florence.It's also a lovely place where enjoying your stay.Our apartment is located in the old town center and you have within reach ferries,bus stops,train station,bars and restaurants.

A DIFFERENT TYPE OF WALK - CICLOPEDONALE MAREMONTI If you like walking or hiking there’s a great trail connecting Framura to Bonassola and Levanto called Ciclopedonale Maremonti. The trail overlooks the Ligurian Sea and is 5 km long on a pedestrian asphalt road inside the old railway tunnels, that you can also cover by bicycle and running. There are some windows in the tunnels where you can admire the panorama, and paths to reach lovely little free beaches. You can rent a bicycle in Framura, at the beginning of the trail, it costs 2 euros per hour. You can easily reach Framura by train from the Central Station of La Spezia, that it’s 10 minutes on foot from our apartment.

The wonderful swimming pool of Porto Mirabello is located in the city center of La Spezia.It is a great place to enjoy yourself and it's 5 minutes on foot from our apartment, Interno24. #Interno24 #holidayhome#portomirabello#swimmingpool
