“In principio fu lo smartworking. Poi è venuto il turno del workation, dalla fusione di work e vacation, e pure del southworking, che ha fatto della parte bassa dello Stivale la meta prediletta per una «vacanza di lavoro». D’altronde, nel momento in cui diventa possibile spostare l’ufficio letteralmente ovunque, perché non andare in un luogo che, non appena si spegne il pc, offre spiagge paradisiache, svago e bontà gastronomiche invidiate da mezzo mondo? In questa tendenza in crescita si inserisce  , startup fondata a Lecce dalla pugliese  Chiara Oliva, classe 1982, e dal marito  Georg Sauter, imprenditore tedesco.

“Il South working è in progressiva crescita: secondo i dati presentati a novembre 2020 da Svimez – Associazione per lo sviluppo dell’industria nel Mezzogiorno, basati su un’indagine affidata a Datamining che ha raccolto le informazioni da centocinquanta grandi imprese, dall’inizio dell’emergenza sanitaria un anno fa, sono oltre 45mila i lavoratori di aziende del Centro-Nord in smart working dal Sud.
