Come ogni anno siamo stati a Lipari, a Casa Ornella, per curare e potare il nostro bellissimo giardino mediterraneo 🌺🌴🌵 abbiamo anche raccolto i frutti del nostro lavoro 🙂 E con l'arrivo di Pasqua incomincia una nuova stagione per Casa Ornella, pronta ad ospitare chi vuole godersi questo bellissimo arcipelago 🏝

We've spent a week at Casa Ornella pruning and tidying up our gorgeous mediterranean garden 🙂❤️ We are making the garden pretty for our perspective guests! 🏖🏝 Now it's time to make lemon marmellade and syruped kumquats freshly picked from our garden 🍋🍊

I am finally back on the magical island of Lipari 🙂 a new spring is coming, boats get painted and ready to get into the sea once again 🛶 This lovely square will again see many people walking by, admiring it's stunning look or sitting in a café watching life passing by 🏝 I look forward to spend the coming weeks painting, cleaning, and getting Casa Ornella ready for the season and, of course, spend lots of time looking after it's lush Mediterranean garden 🌼🌸🪴🌴🌺

Today we leave Lipari and Casa Ornella. We spent 10 days looking after our beautiful land on this stunning island. We pruned olive trees and citrus trees, cypresses, pine trees, fruit trees, bougavillea, and much more 🌳🍋🍊🫒🌲 As always this was a huge task but very rewarding 🙂 the land is lush and healthy. The plants that Giovanni's parents planted are strong and gourges and the new ones we have planted during the years are growing well. 💚

Today we have planted this very traditional Sicilian fruit tree, called Corbezzolo 👨‍🌾 We look forward to a beautiul blossom of small white bells and to try its delicious red berries 🤩 (fantastic for jam) 🌞

(IT) Spero che questa pagina sia di vostro gradimento e che tante persone visiteranno questo bellissima casa e le meravigliose Isole Eolie. Da quasi 40 anni questa e' la casa estiva della mia famiglia. Ora ho deciso di aprire le porte anche ad altri visitatori cosi che possano anche loro godere delle bellezze di questo magnifica zona.

Villa panoramica con grande giardino mediterraneo (3000 mq), vista mare e tramonti straordinari. Ampi spazi esterni ed interni. Il tema principale degli interni è il bianco e il blu. Interni luminosi e spaziosi. Pavimenti in cotto e ceramica. La villa è a 5,3 km dalla spiaggia (Acquacalda) e 10 km dal centro di Lipari.

(EN) I really hope that you like this page and that many people will visit this beautiful house and the magnificent Aeolian Islands! For almost 40 years Casa Ornella has been my family summer home. Now I open the doors to other visitors so that they can enjoy the beauty that this area has to offer: nature, tranquillity, peace, sunsets, sea views, walks etc.
