At the Airport in Milan waiting for our guests to arrive and start our first Tour in almost 2 years.

On my walk this morning I peeked through the window of a house that is undergoing major restoration and saw this on the wall. It says “il Duce” which means “The Leader”. It was in reference to Mussolini, the Fascist dictator of Italy during World War ll. When the contractors were removing the plaster from the interior walls during renovation, it apparently sheeted off revealing an earlier layer. Never know what you’re going to find when restoring these old houses.

Join me, Doug Haynes, in Iceland, May 2020 for our new Iceland Photo & Adventure Tour. I’m teaming up with my long-time friend and professional photographer, 📷 https://www.breiehagen.com/Adventures/Iceland/1 from Minneapolis, USA. We’re on a 9-day adventure to travel Icelands south coast which is rich in dramatic waterfalls, rugged moss-covered volcanic landscapes and glaciers calving into Glacier Bay on their way out to the open sea. From there we’ll tour the famed Golden Circle, spend a couple of days exploring Reykjavik and finally we'll soak our well-traveled bones in the thermal baths at The Blue Lagoon.

Along the way Per will be covering all aspects of landscape photography & post processing from the basics to more advanced techniques, depending on the group’s interest, and provide individual instruction as needed. Photographers at all levels are welcome.
