At the Teatro di Silenzio near the birth town of Andrea Bocelli. He performs here once a year, the rest of the year the theatre stands in silence, thus the name.

At the Airport in Milan waiting for our guests to arrive and start our first Tour in almost 2 years.

On my walk this morning I peeked through the window of a house that is undergoing major restoration and saw this on the wall. It says “il Duce” which means “The Leader”. It was in reference to Mussolini, the Fascist dictator of Italy during World War ll. When the contractors were removing the plaster from the interior walls during renovation, it apparently sheeted off revealing an earlier layer. Never know what you’re going to find when restoring these old houses.
