A Settembre si parla di vino e di vendemmia alle Cinque Terre!

The Lunigiana is an area rich in history, nature, castles, food and wine. The town of Luni was founded by the Romans in 177 A.D. and in ancient times it was a crossroads for people travelling along the Via Francigena, which connected Europe to Rome.
The best way to visit the area is by trekking and by car.
We have trekking guides for a day in the Lunigiana and can book a car transfer for you if you don't have one.
One tour we recommend is the Wild Water River Trek (see link in bio), with a lunch stop in Pontremoli (the Trattoria Norina is excellent, but there are others of good quality), then on to the Museum of Stele Statues and finish with an aperitif at the Bar Luciano, which for years has been serving the "white gold" aperitif, a secret recipe that nobody knows. It is worth trying!

✨Il Palio del Golfo è uno degli eventi imperdibili che si svolge a La Spezia la prima domenica di Agosto, uno tra i più sentiti del territorio.🚣‍♀️🚣

Unisce tutte le "borgate" o paesi del Golfo dei Poeti, che competono in una gara tra imbarcazioni, scafi simili al gozzo nazionale ma realizzate a mano da artigiani locali con caratteristiche uniche che le rendono più agili e veloci.

Le Borgate che si affacciano sul mare sono, in ordine: Porto Venere, Le Grazie, Fezzano, Cadimare, Marola, CRDD, Canaletto, Fossamastra, Muggiano, San Terenzo, Venere Azzurra, Lerici e Tellaro.

Quest'anno l'evento giunge alla sua 99° edizione con il seguente programma:

2 agosto: sfilata notturna delle borgate: ogni paese sfila con il suo carro e i suoi costumi a tema, vince il paese che porta l'idea più bella e originale.
Ore 19:00 partenza da Piazza Brin- termine in Piazza Europa

3 agosto: pesa e controllo delle imbarcazioni

4 agosto: Giornata della Gara: si svolge presso la passeggiata Morin e inizia verso le 14:00. Seguono fuochi d'artificio!

5 agosto: premiazione

Il lavoro nel turismo, come negli altri settori, può essere duro. Possono esserci i momenti difficili in cui anche se dai il massimo sembra che non se ne accorga nessuno. Poi all'improvviso arriva una recensione che ti fa balzare sulla sedia e in un attimo vedi che tutto il tuo impegno è stato non solo riconosciuto...ma molto apprezzato! On the occasion of the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, June 17th, we would like to share and spread this initiative of the Cinque Terre National Park.

A guide from the Park will take you on a sunset tour of the vineyards of the Manarola Foundation, paying particular attention to the Stonwallsforlife project, which consists of the restoration and maintenance of dry-stone terraces and related hydraulic regulation works to protect the land and its inhabitants from the effects of extreme weather events.

Arbaspàa has been in collaboration with the Manarola Foundation for the restoration of the Cinque Terre area for years.

In questi giorni a la spezia si è tenuta 2 giorni di workshop e incontri con buyer internazionali interessati al nostro territorio e siamo felici di aver partecipato affiancando le istituzioni.
Hanno aderito molti comuni a questa iniziativa denominata “Ala” (Area Ligure Apuana) che è nata circa un anno fa con l’intento di promuovere il turismo non solo alle Cinque Terre, ma in tutti in territori limitrofi, ricchi di storia, natura e cultura.
Durante la giornata si sono tenuti i tavoli di lavoro e la sera ci si è incontrati a cena per fare networking “più light”, accompagnato dalle nostre specialità enogastronomiche.

In recent days in La Spezia, we have held a two-day workshop and meetings with international buyers interested in our region, and we are pleased to have participated alongside the institutions. Many municipalities joined this initiative named “Ala” (Apuan Ligurian Area), which was established about a year ago with the goal of promoting tourism not only to the Cinque Terre but also to all the surrounding territories, rich in history, nature, and culture. During the day, work sessions were held, and in the evening, we gathered for dinner to network in a more relaxed manner, accompanied by our local culinary specialties.

They love to stroll through the centre squeezed between people in search of the best thing to eat: Porchetta, Zeppola di San Giuseppe, aniseed Brigidini. These are just some of the specialities you can find at this lively festival.

March 19th is a double celebration for La Spezia and its people. This is the date during which fathers have been celebrated in all Catholic countries since the Middle Ages; in La Spezia, however. St. Joseph has represented not only the putative father of Jesus but also the patron saint of the city since 1653.

🚆👉Ci sono importanti novità per quanto riguarda gli spostamenti in treno nella zona delle Cinque Terre, tra La Spezia e Levanto.

Da domani 16 Marzo partono i Cinque Terre Express e fino al 3 Novembre ci sono importanti variazioni da tenere in considerazione se avete in programma di fare un viaggio in questa zona.

La principale novità?

In base ai periodi di maggiore o minore affluenza turistica è stato creato un calendario che si divide in tre fasce, A= verde, B=gialla, C=rossa.
Sia i biglietti sia le Cinque Terre card treno subiscono variazioni di prezzo in base a queste fasce.

We are one month away from the end of winter and the beginning of spring. 🌞🌳

We wish we could say that the cold weather is finally coming to an end, but this year has been an abnormal winter with extremely warm temperatures.(2.1 degrees higher than the historical average-source Coldiretti).🔥

The consequences are wide and worrying, the blooms will come early and the lack of rain will bring drought.

We have been managing apartments for tourist use in Cinque Terre for 20 years, over time we are improving the energy efficiency of our facilities, and we always encourage our clients to use resources more wisely. 🌱

5 TOP (Street) Foods in Cinque Terre & La Spezia 🌊 

1️⃣ Anchovies: Across the Italian coast, preserving anchovies under salt is a tradition. This technique provided locals with a food source during winter. 🐟 

 2️⃣ Pesto: A staple in Ligurian cuisine, pesto’s use of basil has ancient roots, tracing back to both Arabs and Romans. 🌿 

 3️⃣ Baccalà: Salt-preserved codfish, while Stockfish is air-dried cod. Stockfish predates Baccalà, emerging before the widespread use of salt post-1600, thanks to the Portuguese. 🐟🧂 

 4️⃣ Farinata: Resembling a flat pizza, this chickpea flour creation was a humble substitute for bread and meat. 🍕

🌱💚 Have you ever taken a stroll through the magnificent gardens of Genova Nervi?

Between the 17th and 19th century even the Genoese aristocracy and middle class chose Nervi as a residential area, building wonderful villas. The Palm tree-lined street of the district still bares witness to the Belle Époque period with many buildings in Liberty style.

1. Focaccia e cappuccino, la colazione del Ligure 🍞☕
Provatela e convertitevi subito a quest’usanza dei locali, che in questo modo non vi considereranno quasi più un “foresto”, ma uno di loro.

Qualche malalingua ha detto che la Liguria ha la forma di un sorriso all’ingiù. In realtà, alla faccia loro, è un bellissimo ed ampio arco che riceve fino all’ultimo raggio all’ora del tramonto
