The Hunua Bronzo (bronze) is one of the six models making up this collection designed by Piero LIssoni. The different weaves, constructed tone-on-tone to create a single composition, form a visual whole that gives the sense of a precious and varied mosaic: its structure is that of an elegant collage of monochrome graphic embroidery.

Piero Lissoni has taken inspiration from far away countries and the colours of nature to create his Hunua collection of rugs for Golran. The rugs combine the know-how of Golran, seen in the artisanal skills and the choice of elegant materials such as silk.

The Golran flagship store designed by Storage Associati architects with the brand direction by the Francesca Avossa Studio is located in the heart of the Brera Design District at via Pontaccio. It has been conceived as a white box to host and showcase all the collection of the brand. Like the soft colours of the Meteo carpet designed by Inga Sempé and launched during the Milano Design Week 2015.

tbt Milano Design Week 2015 and the Salone del Mobile when we launched the first collaboration and collection by Inga Sempé, Meteo. The faded effect of the weft, which makes it possible to obtain a geometric design through blurred lines, is obtained thanks to the skilful artisan technique from Nepal which can give a result similar to that of pointillism, that uses individual coloured threads of wool and silk for each point of the design, as if each knot was the single piece of a mosaic.

tb Salone del Mobile 2017 when Floral collection of rugs designed by the Raw Edges for Golran was presented at the flagship store in via Pontaccio following up the launch of the Lake line back in 2015. The new Floral collection is characterized by darker colours. Lake received the Wallpaper Design Award 2015 for the Best Optical Illusion.

TBT the Milano Design Week 2017 and the launch of the Hunua collection designed by Piero Lissoni presented in a special setting at the Golran flagship store in via Pontaccio. The collection is available in six colourways – blue, white, steel, red, bronze and black, and combines the art of Nepalese handcraft and rug making with the most sophisticated of tailor-made sartorial details, illustrating how different techniques and traditions can be combined to create elaborate artefacts.

For Golran, India Mahdavi has created a collection based on a regular leaf pattern which gradually twists as it gets to the center - as if the wind had blown over the centuries of Persian carpet traditions. Garden of Eden was presented at the Milano Design Week 2018 at both Golran flagship store in via Pontaccio, in the Brera Design District, and at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile.

The Persian garden has always been a source of inspiration for the arts — described as an enclosed space surrounded by a border, often compared to a paradise — a garden of Eden. This is how India Mahdavi has imagined her collection named Garden of Eden for Golran launched at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in 2018.
