Wild Sea Expedition budded from our endless passion for fishing and traveling over wild destinations. We are a small crew of naturalists who have been sailing, diving, and fishing through a number of areas over the Red Sea (Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, and Djibouti), the Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean to discover places outside of the touristic route. This passion for discovering has taken us not on

ly to buy a motor catamaran, which is the only specialized on fishing in Sudan but also to provide fishermen with a camp in Socotra Island. (For further information about it, please, look at the following paragraph “our boat”). We ground our employment on discovering uncontaminated destinations in order to offer passionate anglers the chance to fish some of the last earthly paradises. As we hold that every journey is a great opportunity to deeply understand the planet we inhabit, Wild Sea Expedition is pleased to offer our customers not only the fishing itself but also naturalistic and cultural experiences. Wild Sea Expedition is grounded on these environment-friendly points:
We operate with responsible manners supporting the environmental conservation;
We do not fish for immediate consumption as fishes are always returned in excellent condition;
We always employ barbless hooks and make a strong effort to ensure fish’s survival. We constantly implement tackle, boats, and systems use.

With a heart full of excitement and assurance, we can finally say it: Sudan is ready once again!

The doors are open for new groups of fishermen eager to experience this incredible place. We will revive both of our itineraries, North and South, offering our guests the chance to immerse themselves in a sea world that has been waiting for their return.

After a few seasons and a few dozen trips to Los Roques, we are very excited to propose a package dedicated to Permit fishing. Over the past years, together with Johan Persson Friberg, we have fished with the best Permit guides on the island. Together, we have selected a few prime weeks for a small number of dedicated clients.

We will offer trips for only four anglers, guided by the best Permit experts available, ensuring access to the top Permit spots in the Archipelago. As always, Permit fishing is not a numbers game, but we can confidently say that Los Roques offers some of the best quality worldwide. The average size of the fish is BIG—our guests have lost fish exceeding 40 lbs—making Los Roques a prime destination for trophy catches.

Last but not least, you won’t find this caliber of fishing at this price anywhere else on the planet.

The available slots for 2025 are:

August 29 to September 5
September 5 to September 12
Both trips include six days of fishing, but longer stays can be arranged upon request for groups of two or four anglers.

Fishing Los Roques Archipelago is the essence of shallow water fly fishing, wading transparent azure, and turquoise flats lapping against virgin white coral sands. While Los Roques has traditionally been a Bonefish destination par excellence, Tarpon is being caught in increasing numbers, in sizes up to 100-120lbs. The elusive Permit can often be found cruising and tailing over the outer edges of the flats, searching for crustaceans and sardines.

Los Roques King ;)

2024 was incredible in Los Roques. Many big tarpons landed on fly and some big big permits. Of course, Los Roques has a great variety of species and soon we will share reports from our trips there to highlight other memorable catches by our clients in 2024.
