A group of 16 motivated students and 2 passionate teachers from Croatia had the incredible opportunity to take part in an Erasmus mobility program, immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of Italy while gaining hands-on experience in their field of study. 🌏
During their time here, they interned at renowned Italian companies developing their professional and personal skills. 👨‍💻👩‍💻
It’s been a fantastic blend of knowledge, growth, and cultural exchange, and we couldn’t be prouder of how much everyone has learned and accomplished! 💼📚

✨🇮🇹 Celebrating La Befana and the Epiphany in Italy! 🎉

On January 6th, Italians mark the arrival of the Three Wise Men (also known as the Magi) and the end of the holiday season with the magical tale of La Befana, a kind-hearted witch who delivers gifts and sweets to children on the night between January 5th and 6th. 🧙‍♀️🎁

Children hang stockings or leave shoes out for La Befana to fill with gifts or candies for children who have been good, and coal or ashes for those who have been naughty. 🍭🪨

From sweet treats like panettone to epic parades, every region has its own unique way of honoring this tradition. Whether it's the fiery torch-lit processions or the charming puppet shows, La Befana reminds us that the magic of Christmas lingers just a little bit longer. 🌟

From unforgettable adventures to new friendships and endless memories, 2024 has been a year of growth, learning, and making the world feel just a little bit smaller. 🚀 We have hosted groups from 12 countries: Bulgaria, Serbia, Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania, Hungary, Ireland, Slovenia, Croatia, Turkey, Finland, Spain, more than 400 students and 100 teachers in more than 30 different professional fields. 📚💫

As we say goodbye to 2024 and welcome the new year, here’s to even more amazing moments in 2025! 🥂 Let’s keep challenging ourselves, discovering new cultures and exploring new places. 🌍❤️

Ring in the New Year Italian style—festive feasts, sparkling fireworks, and a midnight toast with prosecco! 🎉🥂

In Italy, New Year’s Eve, or La Notte di San Silvestro, is a lively celebration filled with rich traditions, family gatherings, and festive moments. 🎆
The evening begins with a big family dinner, often featuring traditional dishes like cotechino (a type of sausage) and lenticchie (lentils), which are believed to bring good luck and prosperity for the coming year. 🍽️✨
As midnight approaches, cities and towns across Italy light up with fireworks, creating a magical atmosphere. Italians celebrate with music, dancing, and plenty of laughter, often gathering in public squares or enjoying a festive toast with spumante or prosecco. In many places, it’s also a custom to wear red underwear for good luck! 🥂🍾

Regardless of where you are celebrating from we hope you will welcome the new year with warmth, joy, and a spirit of togetherness. Buon Anno! ⭐❤️

Merry Christmas to everyone! Buon Natale a tutti! 🎄🎅❤️

As every country, Italy has its own special Christmas traditions and many of them, of course, include food. 😋
Here we show you the most important:

🎄The Christmas tree and the nativity scene in Italy are usually prepared and decorated on the 8th of December, however, in these last few years, many people like to do them before since what is better than make the Christmas magic last longer?✨

🥂In the south of Italy people usually celebrate on Christmas Eve, with a special and long dinner that will end after midnight, on Christmas day. While on the north people celebrate mostly on Christmas day, with a huge lunch with the family. 🍽

🇮🇹 Every region and every city have their own special typical christmas food but there is something that everybody eats during Christmas day: Panettone and Pandoro, the famous christmas "cakes". There are two teams: team pandoro and team panettone, and you cannot be in both. 🤪

And then every family has its own special traditions, that are what make Christmas special and magic for each one of us. ❤️

Goodbye to our last group of 2024! 👋🇭🇺

These 12 hungarian students from Szolnok have successfully completed their Erasmus + experience in Milan. They have been here for three weeks, accompanied by two professors, working in different companies and enjoying their weekends exploring the city and its surroundings. 💪🏙

During their adventure they gained new memories and skills that will surely help them in their future life, thank you for your time here! 😊

- Christmas markets in Piazza Duomo. 📍
In the characteristic little wooden houses surrounding the cathedral you can find delicious food both sweet and savory, clothes, handicrafts, cosmetics and objects of all kinds. A great place to buy Christmas gifts for friends and family.🥨

- The Village of Wonders in Porta Venezia, is a paradise for all children: they can meet Santa, Mother Christmas and the elf helpers. From Nov. 16, 2024 to Jan. 6, 2025, the Indro Montanelli Gardens will be transformed into the Enchanted Forest of Christmas, with many attractions and events for everyone, including a skating rink and the food trucks! 🎅⛸

- PoP XMAS, in Porta Nuova, is a market that combines tradition and innovation.
Around the 13-meter PoP XMAS Tree with 5 experiential rooms in G*e Aulenti Square you will find the French market, with traditional handicrafts such as bijoux, soaps, fragrances and food, of course! 🎄🍾
