Villa Ca' Lucciola offers you an unique getaway from home. Surrounded by typical Italian landscape with breathtaking views.

The villa is located in the quiet area of Mondavio in the beautiful region of Le Marche, just a short, easy drive from the beaches, and a couple of miles from downtown Fano and other attractions. Ca' Lucciola literally means Casa of "fireflies" that seasonally can be seen at bright nights. The villa, surrounded by the river Metauro and it's green area has a lot to offer to those who seek nature in

a private rustic environment. Only 15 minutes away from the beautiful Adriatic coastline you will find shops, a great selection of fine restaurants and beaches. The villa has 3 split levels with all private entrances. The private swimming pool and barbeque will only be shared with other guests of Villa Ca' Lucciola. The villa offers a separate laundry room that can be used by each guest and the house offers free parking space in front of the villa. Villa 50 features:

2 single beds that can either be seperated or attached together including soft matrasses and comfort pillows
1 bathroom with shower and toilet
Kitchen including all equipment

The International airport of Ancona is less than 50 minutes away by car. Alternatively, Bologna Airport has more frequency and is less than 2 hours away by car (via toll road € 11,- one way). Also the closest train station is Fano Station which is a 15 minute drive away from the Villa. Car rental is highly recommended and can be arranged for you by our travel agent.

In May we visited the Frasassi Caves. (Grotte di Frasassi)
The caves, discovered by a group of Ancona speleologists in 1971, are situated 7 kilometres (4 miles) south of Genga, near the civil parish of San Vittore and the Genga-San Vittore railway station (Rome-Ancona line).
Rich in water, the cave system is particularly well endowed with stalactites and stalagnites
Near the entrance to the caves are two sanctuary-chapels: one is the 1029 Santuario di Santa Maria infra Saxa (Sanctuary of Holy Mary under the Rock) and the second is an 1828 Neoclassical architecture formal temple, known as Tempietto del Valadier.
60 km (1 hour by car) from the house, well worth a visit. Do book tickets via internet beforehand. Info: www.frasassi.com
Tip: visit Pasticceria cafe vinoteca Mimosa in Sassoferato for a good coffee with sweets or a nice glass of wine with bites.
