WOur group of 5 couples took an all-day tour of Montepulciano with Serena. She was fantastic! She met us at the Cathedral of St. Blaise at the base of the town. After a very interesting tour of the small church, our van took us to the main city gate. We strolled through the town slowly making our way to the top while Serena filled us in on the history and interesting facts of the beautiful area. She arranged for us to have lunch and wine tasting on the way up. The food and wine were spectacular. We ordered wine to be sent back to the US. After lunch we continued walking up through town and did a wine tasting and cave tour at DeRicci. Serena did a fantastic job of sharing the sprit and flavors of Montepulciano with us. Her vast knowledge of the town made the history and culture come to life. And her expertise and experience in the wine field was very much appreciated by our group of wine lovers.
