Goodbye’s can be hard so we never say good bye. Instead we say see you again really soon. 🤗What a treat it has been for us to have this lovely family here with us. A truly enchanting afternoon spent with our wonderful guests. We set off to visit our friends@poderecasato during the peak of the olive harvest. Piero led us through ancient olive groves, nestled in the breathtaking hills around us, home to trees that have stood for 500 years. Back at the Podere, Marianna welcomed us with a beautiful spread of toasted Tuscan bread 🥖drizzled with this year’s olive oil-purely divine. The salame and sopressata, sourced from our local butcher, were as superb as ever. We sampled their exquisite 🍷wines and the always delightful Vin Santo. Some guests even hopped on the back of the tractor 🚜with Piero to help gather olives for pressing and watched the liquid gold flow at the frantoio. Bravo to Marianna & Piero for an unforgettable day.

Our truffle hunting experience is superb!!!! Enjoyed a beautiful day out with these 2 gems. Diego our expert guide along with his trusted 4 legged partner got the job done... they found truffles. After the uphill hike back, we ate a beautiful lunch showcasing the newly found truffles with a bottle of wine from a local producer.🌻🍝🍷

We had a wonderful private tour of the Uffizi with our expert art historian @elisabettadigiugnoarthistorian. We are so excited to have Elisabetta join us on our Taste of Tuscany Tour this October. Elisabetta has a PhD in Art History & is a Professor here in Florence. The depth of her understanding in art history is truly remarkable. We felt transported to the Renaissance era as she vividly described its art and culture. Grazie mille Elisabetta💕

Our Tuscan kitchen is a haven where culinary artistry meets love & tradition. We use the freshest locally sourced ingredients 🍅 🍆🥬 to create classic recipes with robust and rustic flavours. 💗
