If you’re in an emergency situation, and you need a temporary repair, I recommend using adhesive backing strips.

Unfortunately, you’ll need the sail to be dry.
Remove all damaged stitching on both sides of the sail using, ideally, a quick-unpick thread cutter.
With the damaged section removed, stick the seam back together. Double-sided tape is ideal to avoid the seam shifting.
Stich.

In heavy cloth and to help pass through the double-sided tape
it can help to make holes withan awl. Stitch one half of the zigzag first…stitching the other half of the zigzag.
Finish with a large sheet of sticky-backed Dacron, stuck on both sides and around the luff of the sail to keep everything together and spread the load.

It’s worth patching laminate sails as soon as you start to notice any degradation or tears in the weave to avoid the laminate breaking down.
Laminate sails are similar to repair to Dacron. It`s just in short. ⠀

I started long ago in 1993…

It happened to me often when I couldn’t find my numerous bunches of the keys or gadgets.

And I sharply needed something small, visible and spacious enough to keep this stuff.
I didn’t find that time something proper for myself so I started to create my bags.

Monofilm, monofilm x-ply, dacron, polyester, taffettato dacron, PVC, мylar laminated, UntiUV WeatherMax - materials I used to repair sails - became perfect for my bags.

Now I can save 2-3 kg (standard traveling trolley weight) when I travel with my L and XL size bags to my windsurfing spot.

Unique about these bags from recycled sails, as my friends say, is in “always-various-combination” of fabric and colours. This combination is never repeated.

And the print of your name that we can make individually.
