There is no better way to describe it than a town nestled in the middle of glorious mountains and a picture-perfect sea.

Of course, your celebrant, whether civil or religious, must meet all the legal requirements to marry a couple as set out by the federal government, but if you are getting married in a church💒 or other place of worship, there are likely a number of rules or conventions (such as the bride or groom being members of the faith in question) that must be followed, whereas civil ceremonies have fewer restrictions.

Of course, this is understandable, as one must not forget that, as beautiful and impressive as many churches etc. are, they are, first and foremost, places of worship. So, the wedding ceremony itself is seen as a sacred, holy ceremony, to which the customs of the faith must apply.💍

Civil ceremonies, on the other hand, can be just as beautiful and impressive, but they are not bound by the rules of any faith, only by the law, so there is much more leeway to go beyond the rules relating to, for example, music or dress.

3)Civil ceremony🥰

A symbolic wedding ceremony, also called a humanist ceremony is a meaningful non-religious ceremony performed by a wedding celebrant.

A symbolic wedding ceremony gives you the opportunity to express your personality, your tastes and your values. Because it has no legal value, a symbolic wedding ceremony offers you a lot of flexibility: It can take place pretty much anywhere, mostly outdoor in the beautiful chateau🏰 grounds, in your own garden, etc.

As for the content, you can include everything you like, provided it is suitable and in-keeping with the official nature of a traditional wedding ceremony.
A symbolic or humanist wedding ceremony allows you to make a statement if you wish to stray from traditions or, on the contrary, keep some elements of traditions in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

A symbolic wedding ceremony is ideal for couples who: Do not wish to get married in church for a whole variety of reasons (no religious belief, divorced, same-sex couples, etc.) Think that the civil ceremony is too short and too impersonal Wish to get married in Italy but cannot have a civil ceremony as they are not Italian residents Have always dreamed of a romantic outdoor ceremony held in a Italian chateau venues or in their holiday home.

4)Venues🗺

As mentioned above, places of worship are about more than just pretty surroundings and stained glass windows. They are, generally, consecrated and a place where people of that faith congregate to practice their beliefs. As such, few churches, synagogues or mosques etc will allow those who do not share their faith to wed in their house of worship. So, if you have your heart set on marrying in your local cathedral, but are not of that faith, well, the chances of you being allowed to marry there are, well, slim to none.

Similarly, individual houses of worship sometimes have their own rules, as do individual faiths, about who can marry within their walls.

There are no such restrictions with civil ceremonies, so as long as your officiant conforms to the legalities of getting married, most venues – from a garden, the beach or, even, your own back yard – will suffice.

And, if none of them suit, you can always wed at your local marriage registry.

The only thing to remember is that if you are marrying in a public space such as a beach🏖 or garden, you may need to first obtain a permit from the local council.

An alternative to a private driver is a group tour, cheaper but still comfortable. Tours depart from Naples by minibus or boat, with itineraries that include stops in Positano, Amalfi 😘and other locations. This solution is great during the high season, when traffic can be heavy.

Another alternative is to rent a car for the excursion to the 🤩Amalfi Coast🤩 Renting a car offers more freedom to move around, but you have to consider traffic, expensive parking and the complexity of the roads. In particular, on high season days the traffic can be very heavy.

The Amalfi Coast offers other enchanting places to visit, such as Vietri sul Mare famous for its artistic ceramics, Cetara,with its restaurants, or Maioriand Praiano, beautiful coastal towns.

When renting a car to visit the Amalfi Coast you have to take into account some important issues.
It is not always easy to drive because the roads are narrow, full of curves and often overhanging the sea, and you also have to take into account that finding parking is not easy at all because they are quite expensive, and in summer the traffic is really heavy especially in the direction Naples-Costiera in the morning or afternoon.
😊But despite everything, driving on the Coast is a breathtaking experience😊

If you think you might find yourself in difficulty on the busy coastal roads of Amalfi and Positano, we recommend you opt for a transfer with a driver or for the buses.

If I leave from Naples how can I save money to reach the Coast?

If you want to save money, you can reach the 😍Amalfi Coast😍 with public transport. From Naples, you can leave with the Alibus or the train from the central station to Sorrento. From there, the SITAbuses will take you to Positanoor Amalfi.

Alternatively, during the summer months, you can choose to take a ferry or hydrofoil from companies such as Alilauro or Travelmar, so you can fully enjoy the breathtaking view. Hydrofoils leave from Molo Beverelloand🥰 connect Naples with Capri,😍 Amalfi and Positano.

If I am in Naples,🥰 how can I get to Sorrento?

If you depart from **Naples** airport,✈️ you can get to Sorrento with the Curreri bus, 🚍which leaves directly outside Terminal 1 of Capodichino (the ticket can be purchased directly on board, the cost is 10 euros per person).

Alternatively, you can take the Alibus from the airport to Naples Central🥰 station🚉 (the ticket costs 4 euros and can be purchased on board) and from there continue to Sorrento with a train of the local railway Circumvesuviana (follow the signs, which will take you to the lower level of the station).

The route from the 😍Sorrento Peninsula😍 to the Amalfi Coast is instead served by Sita buses, which take about 45 minutes to reach Positano and an hour to reach Amalfi. It is a scenic journey, but full of curves (keep this in mind if you suffer from car sickness) and which can also be considerably longer, due to traffic, on summer weekends and during holidays and long weekends.

One thing to do that you absolutely cannot miss is the exciting excursion to the Coast by sea, 🌊valid however only in the summer months in fact in summer there are hydrofoils available that leave directly from the port of Naples (Molo Beverelo).

If you decide to travel by public transport we recommend that you limit yourself to visiting a single location, or at most plan a couple of stops: for example, you could first reach Amalfi and, in the afternoon, stop in Positano before leaving for Naples.

😘Whatever decision you end up making and whatever itinerary you choose, know that your day on the Amalfi Coast will make you fall in love, and you will probably want to return soon for a longer trip!

In addition to the Amalfi Coast, if you have a few more days there are other places in the surrounding area to visit such as POMPEI, 🥰HERCULANEUM or the ROYAL PALACE OF CASERTA, with a guided tour dedicated to culture.
