Getting ready for grape harvest in Valpolicella Classico🍇🍇

The wild grass is mowed, the excessive leaves and shoots are pruned.
I’m sure the farmers will work to choose best grapes for amarone 2024 from next week!

Even though 8 don’t own vineyard, the harvest time is always exciting. 🍇🍷🍷

ヴァルポリチェッラクラシコ地方の収穫がそろそろ始まるようです。地面に生えている草刈りをし働きやすいようにし、葡萄の木の余分な葉や枝を切り、最後の葡萄の熟成を促す。
来週からワイナリーの方々、忙しくなりますね！2024年のワインも美味しくできますように！🍇🍷🍇🍷

Souk スーク。

マラケシュ旧市街の市場。これでもかっていうぐらい店が並んでる。民族衣装、ミントティーセット、革製品、スパイス、フェイクのブランド品と本当にすごい。知ってたけど値段は交渉次第。
とりあえず大阪のおばちゃん根性を引っ張り出して交渉に臨んだ。それもそれなりに面白いかったりもする。

アーケードの天井の木彫りの屋根が綺麗で、そこから陽の光が漏れてくるのもちょっと幻想的で素敵でした。

The 7th day of olive harvest 2023. It rained yesterday and sometimes also today. The harvest will be finished tomorrow! And we must clean on Sunday and bring them to the oil mill. The new EVO will be born on Monday!

Our beloved English guests came back to stay here in Valpolcella Hills.

They brought us the special edition short bread ‘HM King Charles’ as souvenir. Open the beautiful canned box, here you go! The short bread of Union Jack motif 😍😍

I made my favorite earl grey tea and had a bite. It’s so good and I can’t stop myself to eat one more and more….😅

One of the restaurants you can enjoy while you stay in Valpolicella Hills. It takes 15 min by car and you’ll have a great time and food for sure!

It’s time for the harvest in Franciacorta! Franciacorta is one of the finest Italian sparking wine made in the classic method( like champagne)
Franciacorta is not far from Valpolicella Hills. It takes about 1.5 hours by car. If you love sparkling wine, it is nice to visit wineries to have wine tasting and get some bottles. 😄

Caprese, one of the Italian summer food, can be cooked easily, while you stay at Valpolicella Hills Apartments. Get some riped tomatoes, buffalo’s mozzarella cheese, basil and EVO. Here you go!

Some of our guests are really kind. They took off the linen from the beds and put the towels and the linen held in a place all together like the photo.

It’s a small action but it’s a big and kind thoughts for us!

A nice restaurant ‘trattoria alla porchetta’ is close to Valpolicella Hills.
If you feel like to have good meat for lunch or dinner, I absolutely recommend you! And they also have a very good wine list. If you are a Valpolicella wine lover, you’ll be happy!

Tra la preparazione di un piatto e l’altro.. Ogni tanto anche Ilaria esce dalla cucina e si fa vedere. 🥰 Un saluto e via, per poi riprendere a impastare, preparare dolci e cucinare i suoi deliziosi piatti! 😉

Uno spettacolo itinerante con partenza dal Teatro Nuovo, che nell'adiacente e visitatissimo cortile di Giulietta fa rivivere il primo incontro tra Romeo e Giulietta, per poi, al seguito degli attori, proseguire sulla Terrazza di Giulietta, con vista sul balcone più celebre al mondo dove Romeo e Giulietta fanno rivivere la storia d’amore più famosa di tutti i tempi.
Dalla Terrazza il pubblico entra in teatro per poi uscire all’aperto e scoprire i luoghi del centro di Verona ove si svolgono le vicende dei giovani amanti narrate da Shakespeare. Terminato il giro, il pubblico si ritrova sul suggestivo palcoscenico ottocentesco del teatro, per il finale struggente della storia d’amore che ha reso Verona celebre nel mondo.
Una riduzione emozionante e coinvolgente, arricchita dalla narrazione di Mercuzio, in doppia lingua, italiana ed inglese. Una narrazione che tocca il cuore e che regala anche momenti di divertimento.

The play ‘Romeo &Juliet’ in Verona. It’s nice to participate it as the play goes in verona historical center as if you are the part of scene. The detail can be found the link in the post.

"Romeo e Giulietta itinerante” in scena a Verona, con partenza dal Teatro Nuovo, fino al 12 agosto (escluse le domeniche) con inizio alle 21.00.
Tutta la prima parte dello spettacolo è a ridosso del balcone più celebre al mondo: prima con l’iniziale ballo in casa Capuleti nel cortile della Casa di Giulietta, poi con la scena del balcone sulla sovrastante terrazza. Il pubblico, come sempre, sarà coinvolto: nel ballo quanto nei lazzi dei due Mercuzi che all’inizio non prendono sul serio quell’amore che sfocerà in tragedia. La vicenda si sposterà poi nelle vie e nelle piazze adiacenti al teatro. In particolare a ridosso delle Arche Scaligere, in piazza Dante, la Scala della Ragione in Cortile Mercato Vecchio. L’epilogo, particolarmente toccante e coinvolgente, vedrà i quattro attori e il pubblico insieme sul palcoscenico del Nuovo: per l’occasione unaspettrale cripta cimiteriale dove veleni e pugnali porranno fine a questa storia d’amore cheShakespeare ha reso universale.
