We rented this place twice! Once in September 2017, for 6 guests who attended our wedding in Orte. All guests were so happy! The rooms were clean, well-kept, the pool was so beautiful, and the hosts were so kind.

7 Years later, I rented this place for my stepfather and his friends. (5 guests). They were in complete awe! They loved the bathrooms in each room. The house is so comfortable. Beautifully decorated with modern amenities.

They mostly appreciated the help of the hosts Giacinta and Giampero. They are elderly folks and got a bit lost. The hosts took the time to meet them at a well-known gas station and guided them to the house. There was home-made bread and snacks ready for the guests. I will never forget their kindness and hospitality. They have become our very special friends. Now with the addition of their dog "Tag", guests feel safe.

Giacinta has created a paradise among the beautiful rolling hills of Orte. The property is like a scene out of a movie, with mature trees, plants, and flowers everywhere you look. And the pool! It was hard to peel ourselves off the sun chairs for long enough to see anything else the region has to offer because the pool is so perfect. Extra large and perfectly cool on a hot day.
The house has been restored with historically accurate details and careful attention to detail. Each spacious room exudes a rustic charm that feels appropriate for the setting.
Giancita was kind enough to prepare a multi-course feast for us with ingredients sourced from small local shops or her own garden. Her food was easily the best we tasted in Italy.
What a magical week in Italy.

A wonderful stay
We stayed at Casale Eredita from July 25 to August 7, 2023 and had an excellent vacation. The property is set like a small oasis in the heart of farmland close to Orte. Giacinta is an attentive, accommodating, dynamic and generous host with whom we had the pleasure of chatting on several occasions (she and her partner also live in the oasis). We were treated to a few delicacies, including an unforgettable tiramisu. And lots of useful advice to help us direct our visits. The house is very comfortable, clean and very cool (we were dreading the hot July/August weather). We were two couples with one child each. Giacinta offered to replace the double bed in the yellow room with two single beds, which delighted the little ones. The pool is treated without the use of chlorine, so the water was soft and odorless. Another little plus that the children would like to highlight is the company of Tag the dog and Griffe and Mimino the cats. Very friendly animals ; ). The location of Casale Eredita is great. We were able to explore several places on day trips: Lake Bolsena, Amelia, Rome, Orvieto, Perugia, Cascata delle Marmore, Viterbo. We allowed ourselves a short two-day excursion to visit Florence and San Gimignano. Within a very short distance, we recommend a visit to the Lase winery, Gelateria Girotti in Amelia and the Orte subterrains.
