In the nature reserve Torre Guaceto, 30 minutes from Villa Gufo, 102 sea turtles were born! What wonderful news that this is happening in our region. The people of the nature reserve and WWF are doing everything they can to protect these beautiful animals. Did you know that you can visit part of this beautiful nature reserve? The vulnerable zones where, for example, the turtles lay their eggs are well protected and monitored. The part that you can visit is definitely worth seeing. 🐢🐢🐢

During our winter closure we work hard to make Villa Gufo even more beautiful. We are making a new driveway and parking. In the backyard there will be a cozy fire pit, a hammock, beautiful walking paths, a cozy lounge area and a herb garden! We can’t wait to share it with you. 🤗

Today, the 25th of October, Villa Gufo closes for this season, unfortunately much earlier than expected. Because Ronald's father is very ill and does not have long to live, we were forced to cancel all bookings from today until mid-November. We choose to say goodbye together with the family and spend the last days we have left together. To all guests who unfortunately had to cancel, thank you for your understanding. To all guests who stayed with us recently, thank you for your support and kind words. We can truly say that we have the sweetest and fantastic guests.

The story of the Pumo gives us strength: you need winter to get to summer, you have to embrace the difficult times in life to know what the beautiful moments in life are. We are grateful for the wonderful times we had together and also embrace the farewell.
