Initially, Trullo Silentio was our vacation home, our nest, our escape from the chaotic Milan. Over time, we decided to share it with our guests, to let them experience the unique and magical journey that we experienced when we moved to live in Puglia. Le danze, i sorrisi, le chiacchiere e tanto buon cibo per festeggiare la fine di questa incredibile stagione e l’olio nuovo @borgosilentio

La raccolta delle olive e l’olio nuovo rappresentano la fine della stagione qui in Puglia. Un po’ anche la fine dell’estate, anche se l’estate ormai è finita da un po’, ma qui ce la siamo tenuta stretta fino all’ultimo. La raccolta delle olive rappresenta la fine del lavoro di un anno, la chiusura della stagione turistica, tempo di riposo e di bilanci. Riposo dopo molti mesi di duro lavoro che però ha dato delle soddisfazioni che non si possono descrivere a parole. Due parole però le vogliamo dedicare a tutte le persone che abbiamo incontrato durante questa stagione e che ci hanno aiutato, supportato, sostenuto, ascoltato e coccolato. Persone senza le quali questo momento di bilanci sarebbe forse meno ricco e importate. Un grazie di cuore a tutti voi che siete stati con noi, @borgosilentio è anche merito vostro

Oggi celebriamo a Borgo Silentio la raccolta delle olive e l’olio nuovo di questo anno, godendo del caldo sole della Puglia e dei frutti e dei colori dell’autunno

Quel momento dell’anno in cui estate è autunno si fondono insieme. I ricordi dell’estate appena passata rimangono nel sole, nella luce, nei pranzi all’aria aperta che a metta ottobre la vita ancora ci concede. Però iniziamo a sentire il primo fresco al mattino, ma voglia di colori autunnali, di limoni per infinite marmellate o crostate, degli spaghetti alle vongole, si sempre, ma davanti al camino. Siamo in quella terra di mezzo dove ci crogioliamo ancora dei meravigliosi ricordi estivi e dei sapori e colori, ma non vediamo l’ora che tutto si fermi per un po’ per assaporare un po’ di meritato riposo e nell’attesa della nuova stagione, goderci un po’ di freddo, di vini rossi e di camino
