Ooooh Yeah!
has got its first snow.
Here in the forest right next door to The Hideaway Holiday Apartments the colours are ridiculous, and it looks even better with a dusting of fresh powder.
Next year, I’m going to make sure the holiday apartments are open in the autumn, because honestly, the Gran Bosco and Via Lattea are phenomenal at this time of year.
So much hiking and biking to do, so much exploring the Susa Valley and Italian countryside to be done!

This area is in front of our ‘new’ part of the house (built in 1935) and today I received the message from a neighbour that the owner was OK with me going on his land to chop down the plants that are now towering over our ground floor window. Forgot to bring a proper map. Got lost. Had fun. The weather hasn’t been great this week, but we got out for one good hike, at least. Hopefully the weather will clear this weekend, and we’ll do the first via Ferrata of the year, climbing at the bottom end of the Susa valley.
