Had a lovely catch up with today, and as we’re both knee deep in renovations we had to give each other a bit of a cheerlead about how it’ll all be worth it in the end.
But also a good time to remember that although it’s hard work 90% of the time, it’s also bloody awesome to live the lives we are ALL of the time!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop a message here to let you know that Monsguide now offer shared airport transfers to almost all resorts in Austria from both Innsbruck (INN) and Salzburg (SZG) airports. We use our trusted supplier in Austria, which is the same supplier used by the largest ski tour operators.

The shared transfers are available every day of the week starting from December 14th 2024 - April 5th 2025

Ooooh Yeah!
has got its first snow.
Here in the forest right next door to The Hideaway Holiday Apartments the colours are ridiculous, and it looks even better with a dusting of fresh powder.
Next year, I’m going to make sure the holiday apartments are open in the autumn, because honestly, the Gran Bosco and Via Lattea are phenomenal at this time of year.
So much hiking and biking to do, so much exploring the Susa Valley and Italian countryside to be done!

If you buy in Italy, you’ll most likely have to contend with little, strange plots of land adjoining yours that aren’t yours. This area is in front of our ‘new’ part of the house (built in 1935) and today I received the message from a neighbour that the owner was OK with me going on his land to chop down the plants that are now towering over our ground floor window.
