"CI VEDIAMO ALLA PALLA?" ("SHALL WE MEET AT La Palla?")
This is a very common expression used by people born in Pesaro.
𝙇𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙙𝙞 𝙋𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙤 is a big sculpture of contemporary art, made by an international artist, Arnaldo Pomodoro.
It is located in the center of a modern round fountain, in a square, just in front of the sea.
For many years it has been the symbol of the city and a meeting place for every local citizen.

Did you know that in the small hamlet of 𝙍𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙚 there is what seems to be the smallest alley in Italy?
It is only 43 cm wide, but narrows to 38 cm at the top...and it is completely walkable! It won the Guinness World Record, but it doesn't have a name!
This is just one of the curiosities of this wonderful medieval village, such as the wonderful belvedere where you can admire the Piceno country and its small Italian-style theater.

Easter in Le Marche is celebrated with many traditional recipes, like this 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙖 𝙙𝙞 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙦𝙪𝙖 or 𝙋𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙖 𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙤! Have you ever tasted it?

It is a delicious salty dough made with a lot of cheese (a mixture of Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano), eggs, butter, EVO oil, black pepper and yeast. It is a ritual to let it rise in a warm place before baking it in the oven.
This tasty pizza is the star of the Easter breakfast, a great tradition in Le Marche, used to be eaten with salami, cheese and holy boiled or scrambled eggs.

A little trick : in our families, and not only, every year there is a little challenge on who makes the highest Crescia di Pasqua... who will win in 2024?

Have you ever tasted 𝙋𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙖 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙞? If you are in , you can't miss it!
It's a pizza Margherita with slices of boiled eggs and mayonnaise, very typical of this city, it is dedicated to Gioachino Rossini, the composer born in Pesaro.
Every inhabitant goes crazy for it, eating it for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
So try walking into a pizzeria or bar and asking for a Pizza Rossini...you'll really feel like a local! You can't find it anywhere else!
