Fantastico soggiorno in coppia

Luogo incantevole, tranquillo e con una magnifica vista sul lago. L’appartamento era spazioso, pulito e dotato di ogni confort. La spa bisogna riservarla in anticipo per potervi accedere e i massaggi proposti sono super rilassanti. Lo consiglio vivamente per una fuga romantica di coppia :). Proprietarie gentili e disponibili, ottimo il servizio colazione in camera.

​A wonderful place to stay, away from the crowds.

The apartment we stayed in was newly renovated and very spacious and nice, with a beautiful view. The whole place is charming and tastefully decorated. Monica was extremely attentive and helpful, even making restaurant bookings for us. We definitely recommend and want to come back!

Une maison luxueuse sur les hauteurs de Pettenasca à quelques km de Orta San Giulio. Plusieurs appartements de luxe avec vue sur le lac d'Orta.
Un whirlpool bath disponible avec beau jardin et chaises longues.
Possibilité de commander le petit déjeuner qui sera déposé derrière la porte.
Parking pour la voiture pratique à quelques mètres de la villa.

Ruhe und Erholung in perfekter Atmosphäre. Monica und Ihr Team haben sich exzellent um uns gekümmert. Alle Wohnungen haben einen traumhaften Blick auf den Lago d'Orta. Auch ein Privater Strand ist über einen direkten Treppenweg runter zum See gut erreichbar. Das hochwertige und grosszügige Frühstück wird einem in einem Korb auf die gewünschte Zeit vor das Apartment gestellt. Monica weiss über das historische Gebäude viel zu berichten.

My partner and I had a phenomenal stay at Villa Antica Colonia, in Casa Giuseppe.

Monica’s hospitality was nothing short of excellent. We felt extremely taken care of, and the attention to detail throughout our stay was evident — from the design of the rooms, to the deliciously fresh breakfasts, and to the amenities. We also had enough privacy to enjoy a romantic couple’s getaway.

A highlight of our stay was our trip to the Spa — which we highly recommend for anyone visiting! It was more than worth the cost; Monica had set up the spa to perfection, with prosecco and fresh fruit waiting. There were views looking out directly onto the lake, and each element of the spa was designed so thoughtfully to create a relaxing, authentic, and luxurious experience. My partner is Finnish, so his standards for spas/saunas are already quite high, and the spa did not disappoint. It was so lovely that we were reluctant to leave :)

Do yourself a favor and book — both the villa and the spa. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is an absolute dream...

Monica and Valentina have produced a gem of a place to stay in Orta. They are incredibly warm hosts; from delivering great breakfast and coffee every morning, to assisting with booking taxis, bikes and boat hire and restaurant bookings, the latter of which were always excellent choices. The place itself is a beautiful villa set up along the east side of the lake, looking out across to Pella and the isola. Four of us shared their two rooms on the first floor, both were spacious and beautiful. We didn’t want to leave and you probably won’t either

Tout était parfait !
Avant même notre arrivée, Monica était à notre écoute pour organiser au mieux le séjour dont nous avions besoin.
Emplacement incroyable, avec vue sur le lac, dans la verdure, bâtiment magnifique. La propreté était irréprochable et le service impeccable.
Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de ce week-end grâce a tous les détails que Monica à eu cœur de mettre en œuvre !

Monica and her staff made us feel like we were at home. She was critical in helping us not only get to the room but helping us plan our activities. She handle our dinner reservations which went a large way as all the restaurants were expecting us with great tables. She also helped me planned the logistics of my proposal which was CRITICAL in it going better than I could have thought. We plan to make this place an anniversary spot. My only fear is that it gets TOO popular making getting our preferred room tough to book. haha The local town feels like they roll out the red carpet for the guest of the villa. The view is far superior than anything Lake Como or Maggiore can deliver for the price. If you are looking for an adult get away this is the spot.

Perfection

Villa Antica Colonia has as its motto a Leonardo da Vinci quote that sums up the experience of a stay in these stunning suite apartments: “Details make for perfection and perfection is not a detail.” It was our second stay in this lovely villa with wonderful views of Lake Orta. Every detail of each charming apartment has been carefully studied and the suites, which include a kitchen and dining area, are furnished with high style. The two sisters, Monica and Valentina, who own and manage the villa extend a warm welcome and provide excellent service throughout. The apartments are spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, with every need catered for by the best quality material. A wonderful breakfast is delivered in a basket outside your door each morning at a time of your choosing and can be enjoyed on the superb balconies which accompany each suite. Each of the seven suite apartments is unique, with different interiors and views of the lake, affording endless possibilities for multiple stays. Above all, do not miss a cocktail or glass of wine (served with appetizers) in the superb outdoor area with an unparalleled panoramic view of the lake. There is also a hydro spa and a new spa area (for an extra fee). This really is a very special place, where the sisters have achieved perfection, through their incredible attention to detail.

I stayed in the Giuseppe suite, which was recently renovated. The room and service were flawless and offered total privacy. The views from the private terrace are unmatched. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The included breakfast was delicious, delivered on time, and generous. With respect to additional services, all transfers to boating experiences or dinner reservations were easy and precisely on time. I requested a bicycle rental - our host coordinated delivery and return of the bicycle as well as safe storage until my arrival. You will be comfortable if you prefer speaking English, German, Italian, or Spanish. Our hosts are detail oriented and kind, which made our experience perfect.

Wir haben in der Villa Antica Colonia eine wundervolle Woche in der Wohnung Casa Guido verbracht.
Die Lage ist überwältigend und mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf den See und die umliegenden Berge!
Die Aussenbereiche sind schön gestaltet, mit genügend Liegestühlen und einem tollen Whirlpool. Es fehlt an nichts.
Die grosszügige und sorgfältig eingerichtete Wohnung bietet alles, komplett ausgerüstet und einem sehr grosszügigen Balkon. Das Frühstück wird in einem Korb mit frischen lokalen und hervorragenden Produkten an die Türe geliefert.

Hallo Ferien Freunde,

Ihr müsst unbedingt einen Ferienausflug zu den Hausherrin Monica in die Villa Antica Colonia am Lago di Orta. Wir waren leider nur drei Tage dort, aber es fühlte sich an wie drei Wochen Ferien.

Die Villa ist der Hammer und die Gastfreundschaft ist wie in einem 6. Stern Hotel. Die Aussicht auf den See war so wunderschön und die Stille, ich konnte zum ersten Mal nach langer Zeit wieder durchschlafen. All die Zimmer, was eigentlich ein Zweizimmer-Wohnung entspricht, hatte ich noch nie erlebt, einer ist schöner als das andere und vor allem sind die Wohnungen nicht gleich, jedes Zimmer hat sein eigener Charakter.

Das Frühstück-Buffet, kommt frisch ins Zimmer serviert und die Ortschaft, so süss und klein, so wie man sich das wünscht.

Also ich geh so schnell wie möglich wieder dort ihn, um einfach dort die Zeit zu geniessen.

Absolut wunderschöne location an bester Lage mit Sicht auf See und Berge, im Stile von when history meets modern touch. Neu restauriert, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles da was es braucht zum erholsame Tage zu geniessen. Frühstück regionaler Produkte nach eigener Wahl wird aufs Zimmer serviert. Gastgeberin Monica liest jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab und ist hilfsbereit und organisiert alles in no time but any time. Absolutely best host ever!

We stayed at Villa Antica Colonia for a short getaway over the weekend. If you are looking for a place with impeccable service to relax, I highly recommend Villa Antica Colonia. This property is a gem located in Pettenasco, overlooking Orta Lake. We were amazed by the breathtaking view and the charm of this family-run villa. Upon arrival, Monica welcomed us with a friendly smile and took some of her time to show us our apartment and the rest of the property. She made sure to make our stay as peaceful and smooth as possible by giving us privacy and by handling perfectly the booking of restaurants for us. We had a lot of time to enjoy the whirlpool bath facing the lake at sunset; what a treat! The apartment had a spectacular panoramic view and a lot of light. It had all the necessary equipment for a stay; everything was functional and modern. The breakfast delivered directly to the door was fresh and containing local products. Getting to have breakfast with this view was a delight.
