Pollica in Campania is Italy's most beautiful beach resort as ranked in the Five Sails standings issued by Legambiente and the Italian Touring Club Friday.
Second place goes to Nardò in Puglia, third to Baunei in eastern Sardinia, fourth to Domus De Maria in southern Sardinia and fifth to Castiglione della Pescaia in southern Tuscany.

Casa Cantarella Pollica

Set atop one of the highest points above the small town of Pollica Casa Cantarella enjoys unrivalled sea views of the Mediterranean's Cilento coast. It is 15 min (5km) to the nearest beach.

The rustic, spacious and airy family house is on two levels and nestled in a terraced orchard sitting among fig, orange, lemon and olive trees.

It has four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a large dining room, a sitting room with doors opening on to a south facing terrace with a panoramic view of the mountains. It is fully equipped for a wonderful and peaceful holiday stay and is only 5km (15 min) drive to Acciaroli beach.

Ideal for two families of four.
