Astronaut Andreas Mogensen captured a breathtaking image of Vesuvius from the International Space Station (ISS). This photograph offers a unique perspective of the famous Italian volcano, known for its devastating eruption in 79 AD, which buried the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
