Last week was only partly the end of the season for me. Was that the last snorkeling tour of 2024? Easily possible given the current temperatures 🥶🤧
Who would have thought that my nature guide colleagues - who usually travel on foot or by bike - would also cut such a good figure in the water 🥾🚲🤿
A tour of the shipwreck in Cala dell’Acqua was a must, so I can say it was a successful trip. I’d be happy to continue next year 💙

It is always a pleasure to listen to the other guides/people at joint events. A big thank you to Lecizio Ass. Culturale Exotique, who organizes the weekends on Ponza and sends the island's personalities and guests from outside on a fantastic journey along the hiking trails 🏝️👏🌊

October impressions - look at all these good looking creatures 😍 It’s not just when hiking that you need to keep your eyes open...you can easily spot some animals on the side of the road, on your own terrace or while having an aperitif in the bar 😎
How about you? What were your discoveries in October?
It is not always easy to correctly identify these species-rich groups, but it is worth a try:
1) Convolvulus Hawkmoth (Agrius convolvuli)
2) Hawaiian Beet Webworm Moth (Spoladea recurvalis)
3) Lamenting Grasshopper (Eyprepocnemis plorans)
4) Oak Eggar (Lasiocampa quercus)
5) Six-spotted Scoliid Wasp (Colpa sexmaculata)
