☔️ If the rain does not allow you to sunbathe and enjoy the Positano beach, take the chance to admire the beauty of underground Positano, hidden by more recent buildings and hidden under the Santa Maria Assunta church bell tower. The Archaeological Museum of Positano is a small gem to visit alone or in company to discover the past of the city nestled in the mountains. Absolutely worth a visit.

La pioggia non ti permette di prendere il sole e goderti la spiaggia di Positano? E' il momento perfetto per poter ammirare la bellezza di Positano sotterranea, nascosta dalle costruzioni moderne e celata sotto il campanile della chiesa. Il Museo Archeologico di Positano è un piccolo gioiello da visitare da soli o in compagnia per scoprire il passato della città incastonata tra le montagne. ☔️

If life gives you lemons you better make  (Valentì 🔝)
We use lemons for everything here:
*in particular by the “Sfusato amalfitano” peel we make limoncello,
*we slice and dress with salt or sugar the bigger “Limone pane”,
* lemon zest matches perfectly when you cook pasta or risotto with seafood ( no tomatoes though)
*using the “limoni di Sorrento IGP” we make a delicious marmelade,
*if you need a digestive you can easily prepare the “CANARINO” boiling some water with the lemon peel 5 minutes and drinking it hot adding some sugar,
*lemon slices in a linen napkin put on your forehead helps decrease temperature when you got fever,
*when we eat fried calamari in Southern Italy you’ll find lemon wedges instead of marinara sauce,
*in a hot summer day nothing is better than a fresh (in a jar 1 lt water, juice of 6 🍋, 70 gr sugar and meant leaves you like it, don’t forget ice cubes before serving it)
