Greetings from sun-drenched Southern Italy, where October feels more like August! Our intrepid group is living la dolce vita with Francesca and Samantha in Italy's mesmerizing heel. 🇮🇹

The tìhiking tour kicked off in beautiful Bari four days ago, where the medieval centro storico has transformed from its smuggler-haven past into a maze of charming wine bars and trattorias. Since then, they've been wandering through a fairytale landscape of trulli houses, ancient pilgrim paths, and dramatic ravines that would make Game of Thrones location scouts jealous. 🏰

Right now, they're in the magnificent cave city of Matera, where our group is watching the sunset paint the ancient sassi in shades of honey and gold. ✨

The happy hikers have been basking in perfect Mediterranean weather as they trace the ancient Via Francigena, following in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims. The endless summer vibe is strong here – just yesterday, some people were still taking refreshing dips in the crystalline blue Adriatic sea. 🏊‍♀️🌅

Tomorrow, they're heading into the "Dolomiti Lucane" – a dramatic landscape where spiky peaks pierce the horizon and tiny villages cling to hillsides. Three more days of adventures await them, filled with ridge walks, homemade pasta, and those powerful Basilicata wines that make every dinner feel like a celebration. 🥾🍝🍷

The CustomWalks crew is living it up in the south of France, with our intrepid leader Brett guiding them through a week of sensory delights! 🥾

From the historic streets of Avignon to the ochre cliffs of Roussillon, this merry band of hikers is soaking up all the Provençal charm. They're exploring picturesque villages like Gigondas, Séguret, and Gordes, where history seeps from every sun-warmed stone. 🏰🌞

Word is, they're working up quite an appetite trekking through vineyards, olive groves, and the dramatic Dentelles de Montmirail. But no worries - there's plenty of local specialties to refuel, from market-fresh produce to award-winning wines at La Chêne Bleu. 🍷🧀

Brett's keeping everyone entertained with tales of silk-makers turned chocolatiers, medieval fortresses, and the scandalous Marquis de Sade. Between the walking, the eating, and the laughing, it's a wonder they have any energy left for evening apéritifs! 😂🍻

While one group is conquering snowy peaks in the Dolomites ❄️🏔️, another lucky bunch is soaking up the Mediterranean vibes in sunny Sicily 😎🌴.

Our Sicilian adventurers, led by the fabulous Francesca, have been living la dolce vita:

Day 2: Cooling off at the stunning Gurne dell'Alcantara 💦
