🎉✨ Colors, masks, and joy! Arco transforms into Arcoland from February 3 to 11: an amusement park in the city center reserved for children, with lots of music and shows. Clowns, stilt walkers, and jugglers will animate the streets of the town, while for adults, there are planned concerts in the square, tastings, and masked parties.

The carnival tradition of the city dates back to 1876 when emperor Franz Joseph, established his winter residence here. The festivities, characterized by luxurious balls and social events, were prohibited by Austrian authorities in 1912, only to be reinstated in the 1960s, reviving a tradition that has still passed on from generation to generation.
